I love just the sheer amount of wisdom and common sense that this professor is conveying in his analysis. Everything was indeed pointing towards NS, only to have it torn out from under us so Kishi can leave his shock value with us. Well, a more proper term would be "rage value", but shock sounds more polite.
Didn't he mention "SHOCKING ENDING" on chapter 695 or 694?

All that development.. And why would kishimoto make inosai a thing? I DONT GET IT. HAS HE LOST HIS MIND?
I don't know, that baffles me most of all. XD I think he did it to keep a perfect InoShikaCho for the next generation, because originally Kishimoto said he was ending Naruto at Shippuden and not continuing to the future.
But!!!! What I really want to say to Kishimoto is a quote from his own manga/anime!

Im not posative but the boy that we thought was konohamaru i believe was asumas kid while the little girl is kuranai's second kid, who with i have no ideaQuestion: why are the kids in the movie....? Look at Asuma's child (bless), that's not the same one we saw in the sketches. The kids look around the same age in the supposed movie sketches but Naruto and Hinata are only 19 in this movie? Also who was that Konohamaru look alike? The utter hell..

I was referencing that statement, yes. And what a shock it was.
To hell with cohesion and logic! I'm going to take the route desired by these fandoms so the amusement and shock of my twisted ending will be that much more enjoyable for me. Number 1 for most unpredictable ninja indeed, Kishi. Thank you for selling out the ideals your manga once stood for.

nooooppe. he kittened up the ending. The rest of the story was good tho.I haven't met one Naruto fan yet that actually liked this ending other than NH/SS shippers. I hope their happy. They became canon, but both pairings don't look like they're doing too good.
Do you all think there's any way Masashi Kishimoto can redeem himself after this?

I can't even force myself to hope this movie bombs...because then I'm sounding like the very same people I despise and because whatever I root for lately becomes the opposite. Then again what should I care, I'm not gonna watch it or maybe I will just to see how forced it truly is. IDK anymore about anything

Yes completely, maybe even more than RTN since it's the very end of Naruto and this time it's directly connected to the original work.

I just don't understand the developing more development for NS in the recent chapters if Kishi was already planning the film for the past couple of years -.-' feels like we were being downright trolled. Ugh my emotions

You would think the last movie would been all about team 7 but no we get this kitten, no movie has ever connected to the manga before till now cause the asspull manga ending need to be more credible for NH to work its so stupid.
A movie about naruto giving up and hinata gets all of what she wants.
