Couldn't Sakura still be paralleled with Mito?
That would require Mito being relevant to the plot....

True, I'm thinking it might be brought up with more on her seal being told or if Madara, the first or second compare the two.
how likely do you think this is?

There's still a few details about Mito that remain unexplained. One of the most noticeable being her empathic sensory abilities which Tobi noted and compared to Naruto who is also capable of sensing others' emotions when he is using Kurama's chakra. Come to think of it, all of the known Uzumaki that we have seen thus far besides Kushina seemed to possess a type of sensory perception. It may not be just a coincidence but more information needs to be provided regarding Mito before an assessment can be made.

I suppose she could. But as it is Mito is not at all relevant, and really, there's no point. Instead of going out of his way to make another parallel, Kishi needs to focus on giving real interaction between Naruto and Sakura to show they are the end pairing rather than simply tell readers through parallels, doing that well is much more important to me than any speculation of a possible parallel between Mito and Sakura. Obviously, with this battle going on, there's really not much Kishi can do with Naruto and Sakura's relationship, but after this is over, it should be another story.

Well yeah, that is the case with them. When it's cooldown, no doubt we will have plenty. Heck, I was surprised that they interact and even show one concern over another. It's not easy in war, because they always focus on fight and survive. That said after all this, there's going to be a lot to talk about.

I think an important step will occur soon. One thing that many people overlook is that Sakura is still in the dark about Sasuke's motives. I think in the relaxation time after this arc Naruto will tell Sakura about Itachi and they will share a few words about what happened that day that Sakura confessed.
The only problem with every scenerio I think out is that NS ends up being canon almost immediatly. Besides confirming parallels, how could he develop the pairing without making it canon? I know some of you must have ideas.

^Since you brought the truth about Itachi and i know that some people are holding it on high regard , what do you think will happen when Sakura hears why Sasuke did all those stuff and what are his intentions . How will this effect the pairing dynamics , how will it change it into positive , i know we've discussed this matter before ,but as thing are now, its really hard to pronounce a good opinion on that relationship. So, what decency will bring this in SS?

I think it wont affect at all, and mostly important i dont think she's going to know about it, the reason why the secret is being kept is to maintain the uchiha's clan honor, if it reveals that they were traitors the uchiha name will fall into the disgrace and this will fall into Sasuke affecting him more negatively.
And more importantly, Sakura has never been part of the hatred plot she doesnt have development for it and neither lose someome important on her life, even if she discover the truth about the uchiha clan she wont be able to take her own decision since she doesnt know about it.

It really wouldn't take much to bring about that final development to make NS canon, but future interactions until the time is right don't have to be anything that definitively cements them as a pairing. Though when it comes to addressing the confession, I'm not sure how Kishi would go about that without canonizing NaruSaku, so it's really hard to say what to expect as far as developments go.

I expect it would not change much of anything, at least, not in SasuSaku's favor. All it might lead to is Sakura understanding better why saving Sasuke is so important to Naruto, it won't change what Sasuke tried to do to her, because while Karin seems able to put it behind her, I don't feel Sakura has. And I think her desire to keep having faith in Sasuke's return is more for Naruto's sake, because Sakura has always been a supporter of Naruto's dreams. Always. I truly don't see Sakura hearing the truth about Itachi improving the chance of SS by any measure.

Lol yeah, I've seen this argument before. "Sakura still doesn't know the truth about the Uchiha massacre/Itachi, there's obviously a reason for that!"... If Sakura learns the truth at all, it won't make any difference. It might lead to Sakura understanding Naruto's desire to save Sasuke a little more, but I'm doubtful we'll see much a reaction from her. Because ultimately, it's not important to her character. Learning that was important for Naruto because he knows what revenge is—Sakura doesn't, she's not connected to the "cycle of hatred" stuff, she hasn't lost anyone important to her. It's simply not relevant to her as a character. Besides, that doesn't change what Sasuke did. It's silly to think Sakura learning this would improve SasuSaku's chances or give them an advantage or something, really...

What’s your opinion about this NH argument :
Naruto has never really loved Sakura because :
-He didn’t defend her against Rock Lee when he was sending kisses to her at the chuunin exam...
-He let Sakura fighting Sasori alone (even if Chiyo was there) JUSTso he can follow Gaara’s dead body...
-He followed Orochimaru at the bridge, while Sakura was falling in the canyon instead of helping her...
-Naruto never said i twas for Sakura that he wanted to bring Sasuke back...
And here’s the best part :
-Sakura is more distant from Naruto in part 2 and even their common will to bring Sasuke back doesn’t make them closer...
So ? What can you say to counter this ?

I said NH cause it comes from a NH fan, he said that to prove that Naruto's love for Sakura was a joke throughout the manga while now he's supposed to be in love with Hinata.
And I posted it because it's so weird. It looks like the persons who says Naruto doesn't love Sakura really don't read the same manga... I mean really, Naruto and Sakura aren't close in part 2? There are the only two team 7 members resting, so how could they not be close? And it goes beyond pairing's sake, we're talking about the manga in general.... I can't find anothr word than weird to describe this.

if he said that NS is a joke then i can say only one thing: He did read the manga "Naruto" but a mental fanfiction.
