Well i read the entire post, the first bolded it happens all the time, if it works out perfectly it would be an assumption but relationships like that happen all the time.

They happen, but do they work? No. It's not a true love basis and he usually ends up leaving her. I see it happen all the time too and not once did it end up with them being happily together. That's the point. The girl ends up being miserable, but beaten into submission. Ex. Ike and Tina Turner. Look how bad their relationship was. This is why SasuSaku fails on so many levels. It's not true love at all.

The second it's not a "cool flaw" or something that makes NS to be canon actually Sakura is like asking for Naruto to do a move but Naruto only makes a move after the thing with Sasuke is handled so what i'm saying is if he does it, it might be too late and ends up like Obito i'm saying is Naruto is doing the same mistakes as Obito and Jiraiya, trying to keep her away or simply avoid and hide their feelings.

And this whole flaw Naruto may feel that does not deserve her and never be with Sakura, which is were the problems comes to, i know it's not a shoujo but Naruto has to make a "move" or say something to Sakura before a final confrontation comes or we will have a nice open ending.

Sorry, but you're basically reiterating the whole point of the manga. The point I was trying to show is why Naruto is not falling for Hinata like some assume he is and why Hinata is not deserving of Naruto's love like people say she does.

Oh, that's pretty interesting. You see, people. I told you. Hinata is a very important character to the story. She's on the front cover on either side. That's how much Kishi cares.

What? But I heard that Hinata is the new heroine. She's meant to awaken the golden byakugan and fight with Naruto while holding hands.

In all seriousness I also think there's meant to be a mention of Hinata in some way, but it won't be a big deal. I think 六道仙人 said that the author of this book is a respectable manga critic from a nice university. I really doubt he's some biased NH fan.

When it comes to how he'll talk about Naruto and Sakura, well, let's hope that we share the same perspective has him when it comes to all that has happened. I really hope he got to see Road to Ninja before making this book.

I wonder how this critic will analyze Hinata. She's only a big deal because of her fanbase, she's a normal side character like the rest of K11. I don't think the critic will be affected by the fans, but I want to see someone proffessional and completely 200% neutral analyze Naruto's relationship with her.

I am pretty certain of NS, but I'm curious about that too.

The giving up part was Hinata saying that she would give up chasing Naruto, because after the war she'll be beside him and holding his hand. Her words weren't meant to show her actually giving up on Naruto, but enforcing that she wouldn't have to chase after him anymore -because Naruto would reciprocate-, at least on some level.

I think her words had romantic undertones, as there's not much else way to take her 'I've always been chasing you", really.

That's an issue. That makes Hinata sound full of herself by making claim that Naruto will definitely be hers. That's more like AU Hinata.

Hinata has no right to judge that Naruto will now return her feelings. And I really don't think she has that conceited mindset.

Hinata can make claim that she'll definitely win Naruto's affection some day, but in order to do that she would need to keep chasing him. If she doesn't chase and yet thinks that Naruto will reciprocate it's like saying it's already a done deal. That's just wrong.

Think of Hinata winning Naruto's affection as a race, Hinata is saying that she's giving up on that race. If you don't race then there's no way you can win. It's the same thing.

True love is about making the other person happy and in return they make you happy.

What your statement here has to do with "Surpass the last generation".

It's the same with Naruto he's selfless and may wish the best for Sakura but cant deny that love in all forms is a bit selfish and you cant run from it, Naruto loves Sakura but he will be hurt in the end even wishing her to be happy, so your statement is not valid on the premise of "The new generation will surpass where the past have failed" she may even end up with Sasuke and make him love her back surpassing rin.
Hence is why i dont buy the "surpass the previous generation on everything even when it comes to love."
It's a dangerous doubled edge sword.

The same with Naruto, he will never surpass the shodaime or even the yondaime on strenght but he can surpass him on accomplishing what all the other kages could not, can you see now the difference.

Naruto and Sakura in terms of love may never surpass the previous generations because it would end being like the other parallels like Mina/Kushi and Hashi/Mito(?) tell me what is "surpassing" the previous generations.
Narusaku is simply because it's the best ending for both characters.

Love on Naruto is not about surpassing the previous generation is just about Love there are different types here.
ones based on infatuation = Hinata.
Ones based on looks and appearance = Sakura to Sasuke, Karin to Sasuke.
Of Naruto i dont know how to determine it hope someome can say.
Ones based on love at first sight = Rock Lee

The anime tends sometimes to exaggerate Hinata's moments. But, the pairings are even, though, in fillers, they tend to make a bit more of NH.

That's the problem with some fans. They need to support the protagonist, and not the opposite. The thing is that, I think they're attached from early part 1, like Hinata likes Naruto, and Sakura likes Sasuke. So, they just go with that and not seeing the overall story, and come to like those pairings.

In the end, that's why there's some fans who don't want to change their minds.

Two special "books" will come out on 15 march. The books, named "The words that bonds" will be two: One named "The scroll of Earth" and other "the scroll of Heaven". There will also an interview from Kishimoto. Hope there will be some good things

Its a little different. AU Hinata was jealous and inappropriate with the way she handled Menma/Naruto. In 573 Hinata just sounds confident, but not really full of herself or conceited. She has confidence that she'll be able to reach Naruto in the way she would like, but its more in a self-assured manner. Well its not entirely unfounded; she did get Naruto to hold her hand, so its something.

And the I'm going to give up" statement was just something to create suspicion on what Hinata really meant before she follows it up with the hand holding thing. The total meaning of what she said tells the audience that Hinata will 'go for the gold', so to speak. She'll try to get a positive response out of Naruto instead of forever chasing him (one-sided affection in other words.)

In general she wants him to reciprocate and she'll try to make that happen. It doesn't mean that this will absolutely happen of course, but her words encourage the prospect.

Overall it isn't that good for NaruSaku, but we knew this since the chapter. = /


About the book, I'm curious. However wouldn't be surprised if it was all about SasuNaru or the platonic relationships. I expect maybe a little talk about the romance but not much.

Yeah, and now, it would seem the new game in 2 weeks has a good chance to have the confession once again. CC2 developers sure love that scene.

Sasuke is never addressed for Heaven and Earth interpretation, only Naruto and Sakura. That seems to be the case for many previous love story in Naruto universe.

Jiraiya said the very same thing, with the same words about Minato. Sakura's temper and attitude is very much like Kushina, but her mindset and observant intelligence reminds me of Minato.

Btw, I agree that Kishi could've redone the confession this way. Kakashi even said Sakura wanted to put an end to her relationship with Sasuke with her own hands. I've never looked at it like that before.

Yeah, he said it in an interview that he'll redo the confession, from what I remember. I hope he'll have much time with doing all of it again since he didn't plan to redo it :/

Which interview was that in? I don't remember seeing him say that he was going to redo it.
