I really wish Naruto had had to deal with Frieza instead of Sasuke, who secretly had a crush on him so Sasuke just left him alone. He spares Frieza at the end, Frieza goes on his "redemption journey", and a year later, is half mecha and blows up the planet, killing everyone.

And no trunks to save them this time, good one naruto. And Naruto calls freeza this after he saw him kill Kakashi and sakura and he kills sakura how he killed krillin.

Oh, so NOW parallels mean something?

So...Minato and Kushina, Jiraiya and Tsunade, Obito and Rin, don't count as parallels even if another character actually lampshades it, but now that Bolt and Salad are a "thing," it is all of a sudden a parallel to NaruSaku?

This is wha I am talking about. This is what pro-enders try to feed us on. "Oh well, Bolt and Salad would be like NS getting together so if Kishimoto puts them together you got your NS right there so now you can stop complaining."

No, BurritokittenSalad is NOT NaruSaku. It never was NaruSaku. It will never be NaruSaku. I don't care what logic these pro-enders use.

As well, any pro-ender that supports BurritokittenSalad and parallels it to NaruSaku are the biggest hyporites I have ever seen. Like, that is hypocrite^2 at this point. First, you tells us parallels mean nothing and now you support BurritokittenSalad cause it reminds you of NS a pairing choice that pro-enders spent YEARS...YEARS trying to tell us how abusive it is is all of a sudden ges their support?

You know what's the worst part about this is? Had Kishi hadn't wasted ink on making Hinata's breast as they are, we probably wouldn't be in this situation.
Because I guarantee you if it weren't for her breasts her part 2 design would be completely unremarkable, and she wouldn't have become as popular as she did, then again, SP might have messed with her design.

Conciliation prize sure, but damn how insulting you sacrifice the two logical choices (NaruSaku/Karin)  for the two "red herring" (NH/SS) choices  and then bring back the one that makes sense  for the next generation (which personally I have nothing against the ships in the new generations), but evey time people bring this up I'm just like  HOW FU CKING SHALLOW IS THAT???

Lucky like I said awhile back, it was the fanatical obsession that made them refuse to see either NS or SK in any positive light or see any as the interaction as possibly romantic. But now that their pairing is secure and their is very little chance of it breaking up. They don't mind using them as for why BS will happen as a sort of consolation prize. Aren't they so generous?

very true indeed Bail, and like I said it shows how shallow and how hypocritical they are too.

 

 

Honestly if Naruto and Sasuke are truly dead (which I don't think that's the case) then at least NH/SS will have died, and that would be sight worth seeing.  Will it actually happen? who knows. not that his word really matters, but kishi has said that the old characters can die, and I wouldn't mind if they NH and SS fall.

Both Naruto and Sasuke are most likely dead by the point Nail and Bolt fight in order to build drama into the fight. Sadly if we are able to see that it will probably going to be after at least a decade of them praising nH in the Boruto anime. I rather it be cancelled before then; the sooner the better. Granted they will blame us for it despite the fact that this franchise has been in a death spiral ever since their pairing became canon.

truth be told aside from my cousin Ria (since she's the only NH/SS fan who shares the same opinion as me) what NH/SS think doesn't really concern me. They wanted their pairings canon okay. They blame us for the fact that Naruto and Sasuke are dead, well that's you what you get

There is a difference between wanting a shy girl to build up the courage to tell her crush she likes him, and that same girls is entitle to him and anyone that gets between them deserves to suffer a fate worst than death because she is a flawless goddess. Who they also imagine either as themselves if they are a girl, or their prefect dream girl that is their revenge on all the girls that friend-zoned them if they are a boy. That's the difference between the casual reasonable Hinata fans and her fanatics.

 

They are the face of the western Naruto fans. They have been that for years because they are so vocal, and they are also why Naruto has not been respected in the larger anime community for years.

I agree, that's the thing I love about King of Lightning cause he so totally gets it. He doesn't let nostalgia get in the way. If something is sh it then it's sh it like no sugarcoating whatsoever.

I generally don't watch anime youtubers because their voices are generally too...nasally or whiny. 

 

As for the chunin exams. There were people that lost out in the exam in Boruto, and at this point Bolt is apparently still not a chunin in the manga. But lets compare the chunin exam in part one and the one in Boruto.

 

The chunin exam in Naruto was theme around information gathering

 

The first part of the exam was various forms gathering information, and the willingness to go through with a mission

The second part was the mission which included: protecting the information gathered, securing more information from the enemy, teamwork, and general survival skills

Part three was combat to show off to the nobles.

 

In Boruto's chunin exam...hold on I forgot I need to look back at it.

 

Part one was they were asked a question but it was a trick question which both answer leading to falling into a pit, and one needing the skills & quick thinking not to fall into the ink. It was apparently about not giving up.

Part two was capture the flag to learn about teamwork....that's it.

Part three was combat.

 

So it's theme revolved around trying to teach the lessons that were at the core of Naruto's values in part one; never give up and teamwork. Which is OK.... not as interesting as the chunin exam in part one.
