I'll try doing the same to Gintama, like I did with Fairy tail. I'll just read some of the manga, then watch some epsiodes of the arcs that I liked. Speaking of Fairy tail I need to catch up on that, and One piece too  

 

Madhouse is da best!  One of my favorite animation studios. But wasn't HunterXHunter animated two times?

Yes. The first HxH anime was from 1999 and done by Studio Pierrot. Fun fact: Junko Takeuchi (Naruto's voice actor) voiced the main character.

They were good, hard to believe. But MadHouse killed it, and I mean killed it.

For those who have seen Akira. Do you guys think its overrated? By the end of the movie I thought it was good but not amazing like so many reviews I've read. Maybe I overhybed myself with it.

I'm late nowadays for anime/manga news. So correct me if I'm wrong. There was HxH anime that's done by SP in 1999. And there is the new HxH anime. Who done that? Is it good? Yes or no, what's the difference between the old and new anime series?

There are two anime versions of HunterxHunter: The first one was done in 1999 by Studio Pierrot, the other in 2011 by Madhouse. The latter one is given a lot of critical acclaim.

First one was with fillers, and didn't go all the way following manga. Second one, by MadHouse is amaizing, went all the way and in 148 episodes - literally only 2 filler episodes was in. Great animation, sound and art style, one of best anime adaptations of all, and perhaps best one of best in those long shonens (until JoJo will beat it  )

I haven't watched it YET (I will soon), but even so I know the anime done by Madhouse is a must. They were able to keep the animation consistent and clean over the course of 148 episodes! Not a lot of long-run animes can do that. Too bad that the mangaka Togashi is constantly putting this manga on hiatus- it's nervewracking for fans of this series. I dunno why he's doing this b/c while his drawing style is rather bad he's pretty good in storywriting. He and his wife (mangaka of Sailor Moon) are rich enough anyways...

They created so many animes, it's crazy. Other than that, I also love Bones, Production I.G., and Sunrise. I'd like to mention that it's not only the animation quality of course (b/c KyoAni is pretty much on par with MadHouse if you ask me).

Oh, animation studios are the first thing I look out for when I hear one of my mangas getting adapted. You get a general idea at how well the animation and adaptation will be.

Very bad studios are generally Studio Deen, Studio Pierrot, Studio Toei etc.

Some of the best ones out there are Madhouse, Production I.G., Bones, Ufotable, Surise etc.

• Cardcaptor Sakura (I was child, but now in wiki I see that it was their product   )
• Death Billiards
• Death Note
• Death Parade
• Devil May Cry
• Gungrave
• Hajime no Ippo
• Hellsing Ultimate (episode 5-7)
• Highschool of the Dead
• Hunter × Hunter (2011 version)
• One Outs

And I plan to watch at least 3 more things from them:

• Final Fantasy: Legend of the Crystals
• Last Order: Final Fantasy VII
• One-Punch Man
