Yup Amour shipping Poke, shipping, Advanced shipping, Pearl shipping, Negai shipping, etc is will not happen either so again. Pointless. By the way buddy, if it was Calem instead of Ash I guarantee that he would have been a couple with Serena.  the Male player character in Pokemon XY if you're wondering. Couples WOULD happen if it was not resetting Ash every region, and Changing the main Character. the anime develpers are just being Lazy and don't want to change Pikachu.

Reset? How do you mean? The change of his pokemon? I mean I think its fine but I just don't really care about it for me to see the problem as I like to go with the flow usually

Not just his Pokemon, his experience as a trainer and character development retract to zero too. It's fine it you don't have a problem with it, I'm just wondering why they can't make new protagonists if they want to promote new series. They always do that with other long running franchises and it's not a problem with those

I think it's doubt. They're doubting that if they changed Ash, the popularity of the series will drop and / or sales will drop down.

They did it in Chronicles though....had very little Ash. I feel the whole changing Pokemon is ok because he is giving them experience. He does show growth especially around the time Misty left as he wasn't fighting with her as much plus he was pretty chill when May was around and acted like he's been through things during his journey, however during Black and White, he kinda backtracked when Paul was around but I saw the changes during the years, its just in Black and White, they reverted him back like how he used to be with Gary when he sees Paul. By growth, I meant his age, like how Naruto grew up and we all saw that, so I think its fine with Ash as the main guy.

For me, it is the reasons for Ash always resetting his experiences as a trainer and unable to win a league that I have a problem with. It's so that they can continue to promote the games with the anime. Like I have no real problem with sticking only to one protagonist, but not in a canonical work. If you are going to have said protagonist start all over again from his/her learning experiences to his/her strengths, it's more sensible to just make it a new protagonist if you want to make it seem like a new series altogether, at least that way people would not be upset about something like the main character will never accomplish his/her life goal. But that's just me, although a lot share my opinion. However, if you have no problem with it that's great too

What if they didn't feature Misty and Brock, only Ash and Pickachu ? Though I think they will feature them cause they're part of Ash's 5 seasons anime. Time will tell with trailers and other stuff.

I understand.. Usually my impressions are within the range of the first four episodes, but I got a bit sidetracked with other projects.. So I'm kinda making due with what's out at the moment if that makes any sense.
