Fine: From a scale to 1 to 10, how much did you enjoy this chapter. 1 is "this chapter was so utterly boring that it put me to sleep", while 10 is "OMG, this chapter was so worth it!" :zaru:

Ah okay, so I guess this chapter was really tugging at feelings here, and it definitely touched. I just ruined it for myself cause the entire time I was thinking of Zuko. :hm: Like in every flashback panel I thought "damn that's just like Zuko" :hm: . Why didn't his mom just secretly put him in an adoption center? He would have been better off than being abused by his father, especially since she began to dislike her own son. But that definitely would have affected him mentally as well.

I was also thinking, "this is some Gaara childhood flashback realness right here" lol. Poor baby. But I knew it- he had to use his fire power. He just had to. At least one of my predictions was right. In a way, Midoriya already won. He touched Todoroki, and that needed to happen.

^ But I'm pretty sure everybody has said or thought this so I'm not really adding to the conversation lol.

Imao, well to be fair that damn scar on Shouto's face really does remind me of Zuko...
We all knew he would use it sooner or later (Deku has just created his own death bed with his provocations XD ).

I think so they have put psychiatric clinics as part part of the hospital in recent times

I dont know but i am really confused at the very moment i am debating with myself over and over again thinking about the future of this epic battle between the two top rivals. Sometimes i get a sensation that deku is gonna win and again just in the very next moment i feel like todoroki is gonna win . Then i thought deku should win because of his strong determination, and helping nature and desire to help others even when he knows he is his enemy , yet again i thought todoroki had a difficult time so he should win and show his father that he is nothing like him. And like this after many contrasts i came to a ridiculous theory that the match would be a tie. But then again another thing hit me. That its gonna be a tragic battle one more or less like naruto vs neji chunin battle, then deku is gonna win and free todoroki from the cage of confusion and fustration and anger he is locked inside.

Yeah thats why i'd be satisfied no matter who won, but sine All Might wants to announce Izuku as his successor here it wouldn't seem appropriate if Izuku lost right now. At least to me

You summed it up pretty good. I feel the same way. The whole Naruto vs Neji thing was a great comparison.
