IKR. Maybe there's another time-skip in the movie. But if there is, wouldn't they show sketches of an older version of her as well as the other children too? Or is this too many to be counted as leaks?

Toneri's hair makes him look like he has whiskers on his face I wonder if this on purpose to look like that or to hide the actual  whiskers .

I totally agree. Hopefully, everything's been a huge misdirect. Like, everything is so off. It was like he was laying the foundation for people to believe NH/SS and then once the chapter got released people looked over the inconsistencies and automatically assumed NH/SS. Also pretty convenient when you think of the timeline. Release the album cover, NH on cover. Then release the teaser, NH heavy. Then I think the full trailer was released (all of this was before the illegal manga scans which SJ is definitely aware of). Then concept art from the movie leaks before the illegal scans, they're also promoting NH by having only their supposed kids designs being released. Then we get the manga scans like we always do and we automatically assume NH/SS.

 

If that's not a crazy aggresive manipulating campaign, I don't know what is.

Exactly! And another thing, SP has never been that direct with pairings before in the movies. The only time was with RTN, which was a NaruSaku fest.

Haha, this has been weighing on my mind so much I feel like I almost dreamed it.

 

What I'm HOPING happened in chapter 700 (besides Hinata having a really wacky daydream about the future):

 

- Hinata actually married Rock Lee, the "big brother" is actually the clone exercising next to him

- Naruto and Sakura are the parents of Bolt

- Sasuke and Karin had an affair, Sarada was the result.  Karin died, Sasuke is exiled and couldn't take care of a young child.  So Sarada went to live with Naruto and Sakura, who adopted her at a late enough age that she didn't get the Westermark Effect  with Bolt.

- Bolt and Himawari are part of a Kurama fan club and draw whiskers on their face daily, along with other kids

- OR - Kurama had to give a portion of his chakra to both of them to save their lives at some point before they were born

- Also, Sakura is terrible at haircuts and sends Bolt to get his hair cut by Hinata

this marketing is way worse than rtn when you consider all of that, and much like rtn, people are jumping to conclusions.

Like most anime movies, featured songs are usually played at the end when we get the credits and the final scenes. Given the lyrics that were linked here I think it was yesterday, how would you interpret it if it was played at the end?

Since this is a movie about first love this might be the end of hinata's first love if the song is truly a sad love song.

To me, given the lyrics and all, it finally feels like Hinata lets her love go and is happy for Naruto and Sakura, kind of like that, despite her heart aching or whatever was written there.
