Exactly!
To say my confidence grew a little in this being IT would be a massive understatement.
I don't have faith in Kishi but I do believe there are limits to how much you can deny a story's source material. The more I look at this, the more this all seems like some elaborate scheme cooked up in the dirty kitchen that SP shares with Kishi.
Do I care if this has all been trolling on Kishi's end? To tell you the truth, I don't. I mean, who will really be affected. Look at it like this, who will be affected? The more calm, down-to-earth NH/SS fans that didn't give us a lot of grief and were more fans of the story than the actual pairings, they're just as disappointed as everyone else. SS fans aren't happy. The only ones left that are actually happy, well a majority of them are jerks. They abuse, belittle and threaten anyone who doesn't share their opinion. These people, they need a lesson in humility.
No matter how much Kishi doesn't care about his own characters, his own creations, to erase all of his past 15 years of work, would he really do that? Would that really make him more money? Would it?
I'm not saying I respect Kishi, not at all. Quite the opposite actually. After everything he has said, how could I respect him? But I do still believe in the messages I received in Part 1, to never give up, to fight the odds, no matter how much they stack up against you. All I'm hoping is that the Kishi that once believed enough to spread positive messages like that, isn't all dead.
I look at the history of this film and none of it adds up. None of it. If it was a quick ploy to get everyone they could to preorder tickets, if that was really their scheme, then lets wait to see how long SP lasts.
Reputation is everything. You can't put a price on it. If SP and Kishi want to gamble their reputations I implore them to roll the dice, see how it turns out.
December 6th isn't that far away anymore. So I'm going to wait it out and with all the hope in the world I have right now, I think I'll make it just fine. I prepared for the worst-case, but even that doesn't seem that bad anymore, I mean, if it turns out like that then I'll be entertained in watching SP/Kishi's reputations fall apart.
