I just think Kishi don't care for her. When was the last time she got development? Even others are continuing, let alone being the vocal of fear of one.

I don't know. I feel like her character is always meant that way, regardless if people finds it annoying or not. 615 follow up was 633. Now, she's being placed in friends list. If there's more, good for her, but after this arc, it will be irrelevant from that point forward. Unless Naruto message to Obito before he converts is, "Besides, I got two when one fails, so suck on that!"

 

Well, I definitely don't mean in terms of romance, although NH fans often will interpret any interaction with Naruto and Hinata as romantic, even if they are just standing near each other.  But you could be right and Kishimoto just isn't interested in developing her further and after this arc she'll just fade to the background. However, out of all the rookies, I feel Kishi has elevated Shikamaru and Hinata above the rest, and I've come to think it is quite likely we'll see more of the two of them through to the end of the manga.

 

 

 

 

I think the same, that her development hasnt ended, but it's something that she will have to realize by herself, Naruto loving Sakura it's already a sign for her to wake up, i mean on this arc she would had to worry about her clan and her friends but what we've seen so far is Hinata thinking about Naruto 24/7.

All the things she did was related to Naruto in a way i mean when Lee was crying over Neji's death she didnt give a speech to him or said something, she could not express anything against Sasuke when he came back but Shino who barely talks on the manga, voiced up against him.

I would say that Hinata lacks a purpose and an objective on her life, if her character is meant to be finished she has to get this.

Otherwise she will continue just running around with her infatuation on Naruto.

 

 

The bolded is what I want. Hinata needs to come to realize that she can be strong on her own, and then she can finally complete her development by becoming independent from Naruto, it doesn't mean she can't still hold affection for him, but she should be able to stand on her own two feet.

I would say that she cares, but i prefer to believe that what Kishi saved up on his sleeve for her wont make NH fans happy.
And i believe kishi's aware of the fanbase otherwise we would not get the ridiculous amount of useless panels of Hinata saying "Naruto-kun" on this arc, i mean Sakura could summon katsuyu and give it to Naruto at the same time she would be capable of knowing what's happening on the fight.

Hehe, which is funny because when it's with NS they interpret it as platonic even the hug is labelled as such. Double Standard FTW.

 

Which is what i believe too, i cant see Naruto rejecting Hinata(Not because he doesnt love her) but would be OOC for Naruto do it, he literally ignores romance.

He's not the type (hey Hinata let's talk about your confession and etc..) just like he ignored the summit and avoided a conversation with Sakura about it, on the manga it was all up to the girls when it comes to relationships, i've not see a single man starting a romance.

I believe she will find a purpose on her life which is not related to Naruto.

Nope. Just look at 631. Minato himself made the direct comparison and people still say NaruSaku doesn't parallel MinaKushi. That alone should tell you what kind of people we are debating with.

I kinda of figured when I saw all the threads that day on the base, if this is how bad they react to a direct comparison I cannot imagine what it will be like once they are canon.

Love is the level above friendship, whether it's brotherly, parently or romantic, in this case the latter. Obito is aleady hesitating though, maybe this is enough. Nothing's impossible now, but I don't want it. The parallel would be too obvious, the literary and poetic effect would be ruined. Besides, Sakura would be a plot device unless she is personally engaged in the TnJ herself.

If kishi intend to finish the fight in this volume, than no more parallel. But ever since chapter 599 out (follow by obito flashback) I always believe the romantic will play important part. I mean this manga always bring the love aspect. Look at zabuza, naruto changed his mind by saying haku loved him. Or gara love tattoo, and sasuke brother love. Just like the matrix and starwars bring love issue.
