looks like people are really done with this ship.

 

Can you blame them? When two characters that you've dedicated years of your life and emotional convictions to, having it turn out that they didn't come together, despite all of the signs pointing towards the cementing of their love, anyone would be apalled, destroyed in a way.

As much as I want to believe this, it doesn't make sense. Naruto and Sasuke couldn't move last chapter, so I don't see them meeting up with Sakura and Kakashi. Plus how can they use hand seals if one of their arms are gone?

I don't think that Kishimoto had the notion of responsibility for the way he led this story so far. He neglected the fact that readers are inevitably affected by major development - much more than by the lack of it or little pieces of it. He didn't think  that he holds responsibility for this.
I think something happened that made him despise Sakura or an idea of NS and he just let go of it.

If the previous Hinata picture also comes from this, I feel it might be false (doujinshi - or how do you spell this word). But I think those are from different sources.
