Well, honestly everyone was expecting her and Sasuke to have a bigger role in the movie, the promotion was really pushing them.

haha you right, but the truth when kishi Decided to get rid of neji i know from that time he want hinata to be the leader of her clan , because naruto will not end with her , he want to give her character something.

seeing her lead a group of people would be so weird to me. it just feels like naruto is more important than anything in her life right now.

Same for me. But it's been proven that she does have some type of spine, so I could see her over the timeskip before the movie training to be the next clan leader. I think she'd be able to honor Neji that way.

She really only has a "back bone" when people are dying + Naruto is involved.

Kishi will make her clan leader, but it'll still be weird because she hasn't shown the capability to be one and probably won't, seeing as we only have four chapters left. Hell, I'd be surprised if she's not still "Naruto-kun"ing in the movie even while being clan leader/leader-to-be.

She's part of team naruto.
If she become jounin, she will has her own team that consist genin ninja.

They actually worked together really well in the third movie. They'd be a great team, to be honest.

Let her become jonin then. She needs it. There is also medical corps to consider.

Even Sakura-Hinata-Sai-Shikamaru will do.

Naruto can express his love without saving (over and over again) Sakura from the Death Moon or any random villain.

I wish. It would be cool seeing them fight together. Or better yet, seeing Sakura fight Tsunade one on one, so we could see who would actually win if they went all out on each other.
