No, it doesn't count for me. Naruto has witnessed and realized that Sakura loves Sasuke. It was painful for him, but that negative period is over and he just wants Sakura to be happy, even if it's not with him. As for Hinata, we don't get anything nearly as close to that level of negativity turned into selflessness like in Naruto's case. Hell, Kishi even took the time to have that same development for Obito.

I heard somewhere that apparently Sasuke is Kishi's favorite character. Will he just troll all of us and ship SS?

I recalled that he likes drawing him, not favorite character. But even so, I think he changes his mind so many times.

But that doesn't make any sense giving the fact that Kishi has devoted zero panel time that would lead her to stop chasing after him romantically. No sad expressions, thoughts, or anything that could suggest that she is jealous in the slightest. With Naruto you have all of that, and that goes for Sakura as well. It just doesn't make any sense why anyone would put much thought into the idea of Hinata getting over Naruto when her love hasn't gotten the tiniest negativity.

Why he should give such panels if he did that panel of Hinata in 573 ? Her love doesn't have to be shown in all the intensity of jealousy or thoughts.

The panel of 573 is enough for a side character like Hinata.

The panel of 573 is enough for a side character like Hinata.

And yet he takes the time to devote such panel time to Ino.

Hinata is going to lead her clan, so no. As for Sakura. She is the main heroine. Killing her would be the next to last thing Kishimoto could do. Sakura has to surpass Tsunade and fix her problems, like holding on to her love with Sasuke. What do you like about him? His personality?

That's another thing. Kishimoto has done a very poor job with this pairing stuff. Why does Sakura still love Sasuke? She loved him for his looks alone. Nothing more or less. His personality was always a bad one, and now he is a huge villain. Sure I could understand you want to get him back with Naruto, but love him too? Come on now.

I'd rather both survive, since if Hinata died I can see some of her fans saying "well if she had survived, Naruto would have picked her". And that's just going to frustrate me . Plus, her almost dying for a 3rd time would just be so...

And when it comes to Sakura, as a Sakura fan, I would like it if she lived as well. What purpose would her death serve for the plot, anyway, except for that Obito parallel? But it would be better if she were simply near death rather than actually killed for that, and even then it's sort of .

Inuyasha 2.0? We don't want that. Trust me, love can happen with everyone around. Also, don't expect everyone being paired. Just expect at least one main pairing, which will involve with Team 7. We don't know who, but yeah.

Ino was having her moment as same as Hinata did have, and even then Ino was given less screen time than Hinata of 615. The cause is because she's interested in the protagonist, the need for that way of development, and, yes, there was some fan servicing given 615 as a whole. Still, she needed it.

Ino got two or three panels for her development on two chapters, Hinata got 614 with her protecting Naruto and reflecting some attacks, and then we got 615 with an entire chapter with her.
Sad is that he does not give fanservice to cool characters like Ino and Shikamaru but give to a overrated character like Hinata who has anything new to show up only her unwavering devotion to Naruto.
i was expecting some rock lee stuff along with the others, Shino does not even exist which was pointed out on 573.

At first I thought "What does Ino have to do with anything?", but then I remember her angst about Sasuke. So I get what you're saying.

The difference is that Ino, and Sakura as well, have angst not about considering that Sasuke will not like them back but of who Sasuke has become and realizing the kind of guy that they love. It's very different from the angst you witness from Naruto's love towards Sakura.

The angst of Sakura and Ino is about loving the wrong kind of guy. The one about Naruto is about seeing who you love have eyes for someone else.

Maybe the reason to focus on Ino's angst could be to show that the same reasoning could be applied towards Sakura. I always found it weird that Ino still had such strong feelings for Sasuke but if it's done to diminish Sakura's supposed special feelings for Sasuke then I guess that makes sense.

He isn't the favorite of the author. He stated that he likes to draw him but only that and stop. Besides Kishimoto, in an interview for RTN, said that he likes Minato since he isn't perfect like him, unlike Itachi (judged by him as a "a one too perfect".)

Because every character who experienced love has went through some kind of negative struggle for their love. Naruto, Sakura, Ino, Jiraiya, Obito. They've all felt sadness for their love in some kind of way. This level of consistency just makes my point that much stronger. So if Hinata is going to move on, she at least needs to experience something.

You should just say that she loves both but one is not yet acknowledged. She loves both but if she wants to romantically in love with someone, that's where she has to decide. In other words, loves both but in love is questioned. Though if you ask me, I think she does truly loves Naruto the most when it comes to romantic sense. I'll leave it to you.
