You see this is why I have a problem with your posts. You either post just an affirmative or next to nothing it's the same thing as saying Yes to why or why not. It's spamming. If you're really just sitting back and enjoying the show then don't post anything if you're not going to say something productive or at least funny.

Amusing, yeah ignores the fact that Kishimoto makes repeated parallels in any important part of the story. Heck, in this flashback arc we find out even Kurenai had a bit of a feisty side as a teen, and also find out Hiruzen had a strong willed wife as well. And again, what do Shikaku and Jiraiya say about strong willed women being good for men...

Really sad argument- it really does make it clear that the whole of the naruhina ship comes straight from the anime fillers.

Ya know an interesting parallel struck me when I read Kushinas story. It was her reference to her red hair being her own thread of fate which is an important story element used to connect two people.

Id be willing to lay a wager that we might see Sakura use her red headband in a similar fashion very soon. quite possibly as something or some type of inspiration to connect Naruto to life so he doesnt give up on it and defeats Sasuke or Madara.

Looking at that pic by LadyGT, has anyone ever noticed that Sakura and Kushina appear to share similar colour schemes with their clothing? In their casual clothing in the manga, both Sakura and Kushina have a dark piece of clothing over one which has a lighter tone, although in the anime the colour of Kushina's casualwear is reversed (her apron now being lighter in colour as opposed to dark in the manga).

Them switching the colors on Kushina's dress annoyed me, as Kishimoto hadn't done a color picture of Kushina yet (thank goodness he finally did!). Everyone knew it was wrong because they made the maternity jumper lighter than the shirt. I'm glad Kishimoto did do a color picture of Kushina now. Even though Kushina's outfit is different in the special illustration it's a good guess those same colors were used with her maternity jumper and shirt. (If Naruto's personality is like hers it's likely she also stuck with mostly the same color scheme in her clothing throughout her life. That would mean dark navy blue for the jumper and medium orange (with a slight reddish tinge) for the shirt. (mangastream's scan of the color illustration is better in showing the color gradients than onemanga's if anyone wants to use them as references for Kushina's color scheme for drawings and costumes. Usually onemanga has the clearer scans but the last two weeks mangastream has had the sharper images, more true color scans.

Correction- I checked to be sure and no, I remembered wrong- onemanga's scan is better of the special illustration, it especially shows up in the blue images, the lightest blue on the Whirlpool symbol on Naruto's shirt, next lightest on Kushina's apron, then Minato's pants, next his shirt, and lastly Kushina's skirt, then you have the black of the frying pan in Kushina's hand. On Onemanga you can see the various shades of blue, but on mangastream's the symbol on Naruto's shirt looks white, Kushina's apron and Minato's pants look the same shade, and Kushina's skirt looks black like the frying pan. Anybody who wants the true color references better grab it quick from Onemanga before they go down.

It was the scan of 504 that was of lesser quality than usual on Onemanga.

The anime team made Kushina's hair darker then it is, also instead of making it go to her ankles they make it go up to her waist and made her eyes grey. Are they trying to make Kushina look more like Hinata by shortening her hair, making it a darker shade of red and giving her grey eyes so it would match a little bit? Oh, and I've been dying to point out this complaint I had about when Naruto turned six tails in the anime. Remember when Gamakichi was laughing from excitement when Naruto transformed as if it was nothing to worry about then Sakura yelled at him with an angry and serious look on her face. In the anime, it was changed from a serious outburst to a nonchalant statement. This parody should some up what I think:


Hyuga Guy: Pain and Naruto are moving away from the village!

Gamakichi: Hahahaha.... Pain doesn't stand a chance against Naruto now!

Sakura: Meh.... it's nothing to joke about, in this state he could attack anyone, friend or foe.

Anbu Guy: You don't seem to worried about it.

I'm not sure if this is positive to show that Sakura can be calm or negative to make it look like she's not worried, it just felt odd to me and I want to know what you guys think of it. I'm also not sure if Kushina's eye color is such a big deal, just want to know what you guys think. Anyway, I hope that they change Kushina's color scheme a bit when she makes her debut in the jinchuriki training arc. Hell, I even hope that Kishimoto does a color spread page of the narusaku/minakushi parallel showing Kushina's eye color if the anime teams choice wasn't right depending on if the color spread page comes out before the current arc and if the anime is in filler.

I'm still trying to figure out how a darker more pronounced colored dress over a light shirt turns tan and the light shirt turns blue. Like I said beforehand the anime team is going to eat their shoe if they divert too far.

Hmmm.... I actually like the anime's color scheme. I'm not sure if I want Kushina's hair to be colored so brightly like in the manga since it would hurt my eyes when watching A LOT.
