Levi isn't that great of a character if you ask me. He's more so famous only b/c of how badass he is. Anyways, he should be going up soon with season 2.

 

To be honest I actually don't care for the majority of the characters in SnK. I tried, but for the most part they just don't click with me, which was why I ended up dropping the manga.   I meant to try picking it up again, but then I got distracted with other things.

My cousin has been watching and reading it for some time now, and he says that it's one of the best shounen he ever touched. And that guy really knows what he's talking about

It is definitely one of the best ones out there. Too bad the mangaka apparently gave up on it. I'll start that anime as soon as I have finished Gintama (whenever that will happen).

• Fullmetal Alchemist: I've watched Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood (the one that follows the manga)- it's one of the best shounens I've ever seen. The entire female cast is badass. The original anime (from 2003) is apparently also really good, and I'm planning to watch it soon.
• Gintama: Imao, that was the same approach I wanted to do with Gintama: read the manga and catch up with it, and then just continue on with the new season from 2015... Yeah, didn't happen with me for some reason. I'm on episode 66 right now. Sometimes it can be a drag, I'm not gonna lie. But now that I'm watching the anime, I'd say it's better to just watch the entirety of it. If you don't want to (understandable), what you maybe could do is read the manga first, then watch the anime from 2015, and watch at least the serious arcs. If you feel like it, you could randomly pick out some episodes then...

I'll try both FMA seasons when I get time. I love badass females I need more of them, tbh.

 

I'll try doing the same to Gintama, like I did with Fairy tail. I'll just read some of the manga, then watch some epsiodes of the arcs that I liked. Speaking of Fairy tail I need to catch up on that, and One piece too  

 

Madhouse is da best!  One of my favorite animation studios. But wasn't HunterXHunter animated two times?
