My guess is that next week we're getting a strong NS hint but it doesn't resolve it. So the drama continues in the movie. Oh Kishi.

But the epilogue that we get next week is supposed to take place after the movie with respect to the timeline.

I would be fine with pairings being resolved in the movie as long as two things happened. The first thing being that we are given a strong hint that shows Sakura falling in love with Naruto or having her outright state it in her mind. Perhaps either she or Naruto go off training between the end of the manga and the start of the movie. The second thing I'd want to happen is for Kishimoto to release a special chapter showing the canon couple doing things together. That way any attempts at arguing that the movie isn't canon would be shot down by a standalone chapter written and drawn by Kishimoto himself.

 

 

The pokemon anime would've been better if they replaced Ash with the Player Characters from the actual games each time a new generation came out to the public. But I highly doubt that they'll give Ash a canon pairing considering Pokemon's status as a cash cow franchise.

Oh yes, Ash should take his retirement.

Someone on Tumblr had a good theory. Hinata gets kidnapped here (she was the intended target, after all), Naruto manages to grab the scarf, but not her.

Man... It's really hard being a NaruSaku shipper. Near the end of the story we get a movie that teases NH as if Kishi might throw away all the development of our pairing... we used to have days in which we didn't have to worry about Hinata and now we feel like we must to the point that some of us would give up in this pairing.

Like if we could just be completely misled by Kishi for no good reason... the emotional blows we receive is just too much to bare at times, right?

Um....Isn't that the Red Scarf that's been the hot topic of discussion this past few weeks? And According to Kishi himself the movie is about love, Gotta say guys as far as hints go it's certainly looks like NaruHina is going to be the end story pairing. I'm not saying that's a certainty but that is what they are trying to make us believe, not sure if it's for marketing reasons or otherwise but hints so far point to NaruHina, though we might get another trainler that hints towards NaruSaku, then another SasuSaku, get them all excited and then screw them all by making NaruIno the final pair.

All of what your saying is not fact it's an interpretation. We still don't know much of anything about the movie.

 

We know that the red scarf is from Hinata

We know that Hinata will get captured and Naruto will rescue her.

WE know Hinata is a main character in the movie

We know that there will be Naruto and Hinata flashbacks prior to part 1

 

In short, we know its a hinata movie.

 

The theme of the movie is pretty much NH and Kishi has said that it will be about romantic love. How much more obvious can it get? And it got confirmed that the ''wait for me, i have something to tell you' from Naruto was towards Hinata. What do you think does that mean? ''Wait for me so I can reject you in  a proper way''? gimme a break. In my eyes, NS is dead.

Hinata is dressed much more conservatively in the trailer. I get the feeling Sakura is trying to push her towards Naruto to assuage her own guilt at first and helps her buy new clothes (which could explain why Hinata looked so uncomfortable in another image), but becomes jealous, and in the Naruto lets Hinata down gently.

 

That, or Naruto and Sakura are already together, and Hinata, who according to some translations, has always wanted to give Naruto a scarf, knits the red scarf for him as a means of closure.

I don't think it's a rejection either, I think it's somehow related to their childhood flashback
