I really don't understand your problem with 540. I have the impression that you misunderstood Sakura's character because reading what you say, it looks like you thought Sakura was not in love with Sasuke and in love with Naruto only at the summit arc time, but then because of chapter 540 you were confused and even now you don't understand that chapter because to you Sakura shouldn't be in love with Sasuke in chapter 540, so she should have thought about Naruto and not Sasuke in this chapter (540).

But the problem is that it's not the case, Sakura was still officially in love with Sasuke, and even now, she's not totally over him, her feelings are decreasing since summit arc (muder attempt, chapter 540, fake smile, chapter 675). 

 

SS and NS are 2 different development for Sakura which aren't linked. Sakura has 2 relationships, her relationship with Sasuke which is decreasing and her relationship with Naruto which is rising. So while in some chapter like 540 we see some steps up for her to fall out of love with Sasuke, in some other chapter like 631 and 663 that prove she's meant to end up with Naruto.

I say this because when I read you, it seems like you consider that if Sakura thought about Sasuke, it means she's not and will never be in love with Naruto. But as I said there is no ling between the 2. 

 

Well at least that post is the impression I've got from what you're always saying about 540, you're paying to much attention to Kishi's interview and you're thnking too much on this chapter instead of seeing it just as it is, a simple step towards Sakura getting over Sasuke.

Incorrect assessment. I'm fine with her loving both of them, hell she could be in love with a box turtle for all I care. And I'm aware she does at this point in time.

But i'll repeat this again, the one she loves, the one she is referring to as the someone else was Sasuke, Naruto didn't even cross her mind. Now I feel negative about NS happening because ultimately she's not ending up with the one she wants the most, and I don't like SS because the one she loves the most is a self-centered prick

For this I will repeat what I said in my previous post:

NS will happen because on one hand Sakura is getting over Sasuke since he left Konoha and because on another hand there is big develoment on NS that lead NS to happen in the end.

And what makes you think she wants Sasuke the most? Because she thought about him in 540? Then you didn't undestand the purpose of the chapter, I will repeat it again, the purpose was not to make the reader realize that she wanted to be with Sasuke but that she had bad feelings for him, leading the reader to get that she won't end up with, him that he's not the gret guy supposed to be with Sakura, that great guy is Naruto. There, that is the purpose of chapter 540. What do you think about that interpretation, are you more satisfied by seeing things like that?

Seriously, you're free to dislike NS, but if you're going to debate here, make statements that are backed with manga panels. Currently, your repetitive statement of Sasuke being the one she wants the most does not have any manga panels to back it up.

2 people it could have been (well 3 but Lee never stood a chance anyway) and she was still referring to Sasuke, that seems pretty clear that in terms of relationship she still would prefer to be with the sauce for god knows why

Stop saying things left and right, changing your statements after each post for your own convenience. Be consistent with what you're saying.

 

One moment you were saying that Sakura's character went backwards, the next moment you are saying that you're not talking about her character but only the chapter.

 

You are complaining about either the future situation or present situation or past situation. WHICH is it?

 

You said that when she gets together with Naruto, he would only be a silver prize. 

Her getting together with Naruto is about the future. Am I clear?

 

You saying that 'Naruto is a silver prize when NS happens because Sasuke is the guy she wants the most', means that YOU think even in that FUTURE(when they get together), she still considers Sasuke as the guy she wants the most. 

 

You saying that "You are talking about chapter 540 and 675 has nothing to do with it because it happens afterwards" is contradicting the above statements that are about the future. Not to mention, Naruto and Sakura are not together in the present situation, and you KNOW it. 

 

The reason why I'm bringing up Chapter 675 is because YOU are repetitively saying that Sasuke is the guy Sakura wants the most, and therefore NS will be a rebound couple. Chapter 675 happens to prove you wrong. That is WHY I'm bringing it up. However, you conveniently choose to ignore it because you don't want to be proven wrong that "Sasuke is the guy Sakura wants the most." 

 

I repeat, Chapter 675 has EVERYTHING to do with your argument. 

 

 

If you're only going to focus about the past situation, don't even bother mentioning 'when NS is going to happen they will be a rebound couple'. Because if you're going to ignore the events that happened after that, your statements about the future have no pillar to stand on.   

 

If you want to discuss about the current and future situation, then accept Kakashi's statement in Chapter 675 because it's actual manga proof, instead of ONLY focusing on what happened 100~ chapters ago.

I think I explained 540 numerously times, that it even goes hand in hand with the overall plot but no one gives a flying f... Instead, they find reasons to bash on Sakura and NS cause that is the situation around nowadays..

Even the past is a plus for NS!! The true part of the confession was a straight forward hint for NS. I won't even call it a hint, a proof or something stronger than that is a better word for it and 540 was meant to head on mean that Sakura is now moving away from Sasuke!

 

@Pepsi I said the case of silver medal would be applicable when Sakura will get with Naruto because she cannot get with Sasuke. But 540 and 675 straight on mean that Sakura is now moving/has moved/got over with Sasuke BY HERSELF, BY HER OWN FREE CONSCIOUS WILL; no external influence, no pressure and most importantly Sakura has herself realized that Sasuke is not the right guy for her! No one has made her realize that! If now she gets with Naruto it will always be because she wants to and not because of some sort of obligation that 'Naruto does so much for me and I don't do a thing for him, so let me be his girlfriend and wife but I'll still prefer Sasuke' No! Its not like that! She chose Naruto because she wants to not because she is forced to!
