Well he did say it took so long but now Naruto is the one to bring them light. Question is how long. Man, I want Sasuke to have an army and just backstab everyone. But first, they need to celebrate, then play a music, which only one person would notice, then massive genocide. Yeah...only less than 2 hrs now...

I do hope Sasuke does something brilliant that catches people like Shikamaru off guard. Right now I don't think he's tricking anybody about having any other motives.

Before Naruto and Sasuke battle for the title of Hokage , i guess they would have to do Chunnin exam again , they are still genins after all  :lulz:

Implying that he will be still on the village, Sasuke is a nukenin and Naruto is the hokage :/

Just because I'm to lazy to go back and quote people...On the subject of Senju! Sakura...

I don't understand why her having distant Blood ties to the clan is such a hindrance to her "Normal" Girl status. Just because she shares latent genes with them does not automatically make her a hidden baddass. ( She already is one.) Having Senju genetics does not equate mokuton or anything else. It just means that she has a heritage connected with Hashirama, and a nearly extinct clan.

It's not like all the Senju's just up and disappeared, they intermingled in the village and just declined. Genetics become diluted over time. It's that simple.

Personally, I'm apathetic on her being related, or unrelated to the Senju. I do however think it would be pretty interesting to see where Kishi would take it, but if it happens, it happens, and if now, whatever.

Now, I will quote this one because it's easy and small...

I feel like its a knee jerk reaction as oppose to Naruto who's always been dreaming of becoming one and that knee-jerk response to decide to become hokage turns a lot of the readers off and, or, even the other characters in the manga.

...What? Just what?

It's not a knee jerk reaction to go..."WTF" towards someone who betrayed their village, became a criminal, worked with criminals, attempted to kill former friends and teammates, declared that he was going to destroy the village that he abandoned when he suddenly shows up and says "Oh hai gaiz, guess what? I decided I want to RULE over YOU. You don't like? too freaking bad. KNEEL."

The characters are upset and rightly so, It's so obvious and pathetic how little Sasuke has actually learned because right now, he's learned SQUAT. He's arrogant, selfish and doing all the wrong things for what he feels like are the right reasons. He's exactly like a selfish child who thinks he should get what he wants, when he wants it and everyone else should just bow down to him.

I like it, because it means he's still a villain and I prefer for him to stay that way.

Well, he can play along for a long time. Happened in Teen Titans, it happened in GoT, it happened in Halo, and so on. So we will wait and see.

It's more of a Hashirama Senju exclusive ability than a Senju exclusive ability. Unless it's revealed very soon that Hashi did inherit his Wood Style from one or both of his parents as a matter of fact, I doubt that that's the case here. It seems to me that Hashi was the only one in his clan to posses Wood Release Techniques so I doubt that it's exclusive to only the Senju clan. But you may ask why then would Madara go for Hashi's DNA if other people have the potential to posses it? Here's my explanation:

1. Hashi being a Senju is a decedent of the Six Path Sage's younger son, so Madara obviously went for the one with the DNA that was necessary for him to unlock the ability to use the Rinnegan.

2. If his Wood Release was a factor, as far as he was concerned, Hashi was the only Wood Release user that Madara knew of at the time.

3. If someone like say, Sakura (hypothetically speaking of course), could use Wood Release, a possible explanation for why Danzo, Orochimaru, or anyone else interested in getting Wood Release via artificial means would be because of this. Since Hashi comes from a clan who are basically the descendants of the second born son of the Sage of the Six Paths, then Hashi's Wood Release might be a more special case. If you factor in Hashi's background and the vitality of his Wood Release, one could conclude that Hashi's Wood Release has a level of vitality on par with the Sage's Younger Son due to the Son inheriting the "body" of the Sage, thus setting it apart from other potential Wood Release users should Kishi decide to reveal characters not related to Hashi having that same ability.

4. Another reason I feel that Sakura having Wood Release without having to have a Senju background could be potentially possible would be because of these two points of interest: Magnet Release and Lava Release. The users of Magnet Release are Toroi, the Third Kazekage and Gaara's Father (AKA the Fourth Kazekage). For Lava Release, the users of this advanced nature are Dodai, Kurotsuchi, Roshi (via his Tailed Beast named Son Goku) and Mei Terumi (AKA the Fifth Mizukage). The users of Magnet Release come from either the Sand Village or Cloud Village while the users of Lava Release come from either the Cloud Village, the Rock Village or the Mist Village. The one thing that all these characters have in common is that none of them appear to be related by blood in any sense. This leaves me to believe that while any Advanced Nature is still a Kekkei Genkai by default, it isn't one in the traditional sense that only members of a certain clan can perform this certain technique. Rather, an Advanced Nature can be found in multiple clans and non-clans alike throughout many unrelated lineages alike. It's possible that advanced nature genetics are more widespread in the gene pool of the Narutoverse then the genetics of more tight-nit clans such as the Hyuga Clan or Uchiha Clan, unless a certain clan actually goes out of it's way to keep it's advanced nature within the gene pool of the clan itself, as it seems to be the case with the Yuki Clan.

5. Another thing to note is that the Magnet Release users had differing methods of channeling their powers (Toroi with his custom shuriken, the Third Kazekage with his Iron Sand and Gaara's Father with his Gold Dust) as well as the Lava Release users differing forms of lava (Mei and Roshi's molten rock variety, Kurotsuchi's quicklime variety and Dodai's vulcanized rubber variety). If these differences in appearance despite being the same element are to indicate anything, then this is how I see it. If Sakura where to reveal the ability to perform Wood Release without having the need for Senju DNA, then maybe instead of just growing trees with green leaves on them, perhaps her variety of Wood Release would have her specialize in techniques that involve growing Cherry Blossom Trees so that it would fit in with her theme of Cherry Blossoms.

Welp, that took forever to type, but it was worth it.

The clans for the Magnet and Lava Releases very well could've meet with the same fate as the Uzumaki clan after the fall of Uzushio after all while they may not look like they share any sort of heritage, neither does Naruto and Karin or even Naruto and Nagato, yet we know that Naruto, Karin and Nagato are all members of the Uzumaki Clan.

Plus we have Dust Release which Oonoki learned from Mu (the Second Tsuchikage) but it is classified as a Kekkei Tota not a Kekkei Genkai, although it is unknown as to whether or not Oonoki and Mu are related.

Also we have also been given another instance of a Kekkei Genkai being exclusive to one person with the Kagura clan's Shikotsumayaku of which only Kimimaro is the only member of the clan even prior to the Kagura clan's eradication to possess it.

Another thing is that the Wood Release could be to the Senju clan what the Mangekyo Sharingan is to the Uchiha, as it was stated despite the Uchiha clan's long history Madara and Izuna were the first to awaken the Mangekyo, similarly Hashirama could've been the first to awaken the Wood Release but unlike the Uchiha with the Mangekyo, the Senju never discovered how Hashirama awakend the Wood Release.

Honestly, I feel compelled to see this post used in pairing debates on other forums if anyone or myself were active in those sorts of discussions (not that we would actually use it without prior consent given). It was very, very impressive. It addresses many of the core details related to Hinata's feelings for Naruto and the situations that she has been placed in that enabled her to confront him about her sentiments. I can't really offer much more to this responce though so I will just restate how amazing your post was.

Thanks, Atheck.  That's really nice of you to say.

If you or anyone else would like to use the points in my post, it's okay with me.  But as usual I would caution against participating in heated pairing debates.  It's unlikely to make a difference.

Doesn't matter what the opposing side feels if what you're saying is logical. When it comes to NS, a lot of what we say revolving around their relationship and such tends to be legit. NS has more of a mutual relationship than both SS, and NH. Is this debatable? Yes, BUT, it's backed up in the manga. :D

You know, I never ask here but after chapter 631, it really makes the argument "Naruto hates Sakura because of lies" look silly don't it?

Well, my post that Atheck was referring to was about Hinata.  :ermm:  I get what you're saying, but it's been my experience that logic and manga evidence has little to do with a successful argument if the other side is determined not to see the point or is otherwise incapable of doing so.  It's the same in every fandom; diametrically opposed camps argue until they're blue in the face and no one ever changes their minds.

You know, I never ask here but after chapter 631, it really makes the argument "Naruto hates Sakura because of lies" look silly don't it?

I never did understand that viewpoint -- how they could think that although he was obviously THRILLED to hear Sakura say she loved him, a minute later he would suddenly hate her?  He said he hated people who lied to themselves.  But was he ever convinced that she had lied to him?

All evidence points to the fact that after it was all over -- Sakura's defense and Sai's explanation -- Naruto believed she was being honest, at least on some level, or at least dishonest for reasons he later accepted.

Sakura asked him to "just say so" if he didn't like her and he didn't deny it, and #631 proves that he still wants her.

So what happened to all that hate again?  Oh, that's right... he never hated her, he's always loved her.   It's easy to confuse the two, I guess.  :twitch:

Oh I know. :P I was just saying though. XD

Anyway, this is pretty much why I choose not to get into a serious debate with an opposing ship at this point. I may comment on some things but ultimately, no matter how much one gives canon information, throws outs logical arguments, and such, they'll still let it roll into one ear and out of the other. At least with the NS fandom from what I've seen. we acknowledge the relationship between SS, and NH. There's no need to knock it, but another thing about a lot of us is that we're not blind to what goes on in the manga. An example.

Naruto's feelings for Hinata....

Now, I personally would acknowledge this if it were shown in the mange but each moment with them is an obvious Hinata>Naruto moment romantically, and with Naruto, it's ALWAYS ambiguous. Kishi doesn't even skim the surface when it comes to his feelings for Hinata. Sure, he may like her, but never once, after EVERYTHING she has done has it been shown that he has feelings for her.

When it comes to the NH fandom, they can never show us where it's shown...

I've actually asked a couple of NH fans where it was shown where Naruto had shown any romantic interest in Hinata, and their response was, "Where has Naruto shown any romantic interest in Sakura outside of Chapter 3"... -_- Dumbest response EVER.

For the most part, when it comes to Naruto>Sakura, I'd be nice to push his feelings for her like he pushes Hinata's desire to walk next to Naruto forever, or Sakura's desire to not be a hinderance to her team. I can understand why he wouldn't push it seriously considering this is a Shounen, and he's built up too many ships. He mixes the NS moments with a bit of comedy but that in no way takes away from the seriousness of the scene. But yeah, what I want to see is Naruto fight for Sakura. I want to see this moreso than I want to see Sakura doing it considering he's the one who has had feelings for her since the very beginning of the series. I want to see Sakura see that Naruto was the one for her all along. From the moment he complimented her forehead, and looked into her heart. I don't think is asking for much. LOL

When it comes to NS, there's not an ounce of doubt in me. This pairing is it. Their build up in their relationship has been one of the most awesome parts of this series for me. Sakura went from disliking Naruto, to viewing him as someone of great importance. Someone who she could possibly love. Someone who has been there through it all. No one understands her better, and the same goes for Naruto. Sakura knows him like no other and they're perfect for one another. Definitely one of the most amazing couples in any Shounen manga for me personally.

LOL Sorry for ramblingggggg.

Also, the same thing seems to happen quite often when it comes to Sasuke-->Sakura. I can see how you'd confuse scenes that show his contempt or desire to fry her brains/slash her throat with his love for her. :zaru:

It's bondage. Sakura loves getting stabbed and slashed and choked, whips and chains excite her :hehehe:

Because of this SS is canon :smug:

She's not growing, honestly. She's way too swallowed up in Naruto and needs to get a mind of her own.

Lol no kidding. The haters feel more butt hurt because of it. I remember how much they were saying along with NH fans that Naruto hated Sakura because she lie to him in her confession, and what do you know that he still likes her after that. I have always said Kishi always proves them wrong.
