And Heartsbattle, you may end up surprising yourself at how much you actually contribute (believe you me, I thought that I could never contribute much when I first joined). As a matter of fact, why don't you joins us next week. All you need is a Skype account and a microphone.

The podcast is really no different then how you would act on this forum...the only difference is your actually talking to others.
Main Point:
I think we need to start a campaign, because I noticed the podcast isn't nearly as popular on Youtube as some well known reviewers. I don't necessary mind that it's not the most viewed review, but it would be nice to attract some more Naruto fans who want a more diverse opinion of the chapter. Yeah we have our bias (all opinions are technically bias) but at least we talk about the many paths

It's mostly because our podcast runs for hours instead of minutes. What is the longest review people make? 20-45 minutes tops? And that is with only like 1 person. This is a 3 - 4 people show where everyone voices their opinion and gives insight of their feelings. Look at two weeks ago where it went on for 3 hours. How many can sit here and listen to three hours of content?
I have tried ways to knock down the times, but unless I knock it down to make it me and one other person...there is no way to make these podcast less than 1 hour. Plus, think of all the times when a good chapter comes out very NS related and I get 20 people wanting to be on the show. Some not even having mics, yet want to participate.
It is really rough and it has taken me a long time to come up with a good formula. Keep this in mind: To reduce the time, I either need to knock down the head count to 2 people plus me or I need to be so strict as to keep people from going off on tangents which some of us tend to do a lot. Examples being we go on topics like Road to Ninja and talk about that for alike a good 20 minutes or some other stuff not related to the chapter at all.
Also, these are not just reviews or someone sitting here "Well, this happened and blah blah blah" but a chatroom discussion that offers more than just a plan review of how this chapter was. It's something more of a community thing that has more life to it. I am not trying to sell you on the manga by giving it ratings or scores, but letting you listen in on what other people feel on the chapter. I have had people who completely disagreed with me on the show.
What's really rough on me is I have tried to push the count down to 2 people, but you guys insisted that I keep it to 3. So I am not sure what else I can do at this point. Want me to start kicking people off the show to make the time shorter? Because I am not one to be this "bad guy" to say "no," I have been doing this with my hands tied. Yet, I couldn't say anything because I know some of you have walked away very disappointed that you couldn't join. This is why I did special occasions where I did two podcast a week because everyone wanted to be apart of it.
I am not sure what else I can do.

Well, I have seen a show that lasts 2 hours minimum. We're not that far apart.

You can do your own things, but not many are willing to upload them to the channel. Plus last time we tried, we accidentally had problems with copyright.

A podcast is a series where it's uploaded online and mainly done in audio, video, or even pictures. It's a form of a program show that is done by any users in any wish of form to done in. In other words, this is an audio show about NaruSaku/Naruto where we have guests to discuss, answer Q&A from fans, etc.

All you need is a headset and a skype account. The skype is free and no need to pay for anything and the host will host a call. Normally, that would be me.
No need to do anything more on your part. The rest is up to me or in case of last week Steve as temporary host. We record the sessions, edit them slightly for better style, and upload to the youtube channel so everyone can enjoy listening to fellow NS fans discuss their theories, chapter thoughts, and anything else that may come up.
It's fun and you finally get to voice your opinion in more ways than just text on a forum.
The podcasts are always Saturday at around 7:00pm EST (That's Eastern Standard Time.) and all you need to do is show up if you want to participate.
