Maybe that's why Kishi handicapped her. Save it for Sakura. It's like Neji/Hinata. Kill one or fatally wound one to have another shine.

As I see things now, more than ever, I believe Kishi brought down Tsunade ...in order to develop Sakura.

It's so hard for me to torn myself in two (I know the weirdness in the torn part, gah) between Sakura and Tsunade since they're my no. 1 fav. characters. I just, can't...
The only way I'll forgive Kishi for killing Tsunade, if he decides to, it's if he develops Sakura. Otherwise killing Tsunade would be the biggest let-down for me. And for many reasons.
So I only hope for the best of this.

You know, it will be very hard for Konoha because if Sasuke and others do leave a trace of an attack or something, it will be bad on them. Tsunade is dead and Sasuke, a world criminal, attacked Konoha, not to mention Orochimaru is back. If Naruto do go back to Konoha, imagine how hard it wil be.

I like Tsunade a lot, and if she dies, it's like seeing Sakura... dying. Sakura is mini Tsunade. Sometimes I call her that XD

I really see that Sakura could have a development in that way. It's possible. Whether she'll get it before Tsunade dies or after it, it's really hard to predict since these two options have the same possibility. Now, she's either still with the others or with Tsunade but, I think that she's still with the others.

I don't want Kakashi to become Hokage, because he doesn't want the title himself. I always thought Naruto would be Rokudaime. But he is not ready yet, unless he transforms his immaturity in a blink of an eye of course.

Now that I think of it, I wonder who was left in charge of Suna after the death of Gaara's father. Gaara' father was Yondaime, Gaara is Godaime..plothole, or it a third option?

Someone took charge temporarily but, really, if that will cause a hard time for Kishi, I think it will be one of the reasons that Tsunade won't die XD

But Naruto can be Hokage after the war. Maturity can sometimes come from realization, not just time and experience. Naruto just needs to open his eyes and see reality.

My post wasn't necessarily directed to your post but moreso people complaining about Sakura not getting enough screentime.

So you're basically directing this at me then? Yes, I'm complaining about her not getting enough especially for a main character. Being present in a certain location doesn't necessarily guarantee you anything. Example being this war.

Anyway, there are people who are gonna complain about something. Her not having many amazing fight scenes, power ups, etc. Just because YOU'RE satisfied with it doesn't mean I or anyone else should or has to be. I don't need you to post examples for me because I'm well aware of where she was featured and how often she was used in the manga...

I don't think it's strange that people want their heroine to be able to hold her own in a fight in a shonen manga. Yeah, it's not all there is to Naruto's and Sakura's relationship but there's a time and place for her to feed him ramen and a time and place for her to kick some ninja butt. And since it's butt-kicking season and Sakura isn't getting any I'm pissed.

This. I'm starting to not even want to post here much anymore because apparently it's a problem to want to see her kick ass. Really? That's the main thing with me and what my complaints are based around. She's a MAIN CHARACTER, with lesser fight scenes side character. I think Shikamaru had more actual fight scenes than she did. I don't even count to summon, her attacking Sasuke, or her taking down Zetsu. Where are her skills right now? What are her capabilities? I want to know this stuff because I'm definitely interested...

Thank you for those enlightening posts. You're right and I'm getting a feeling these posts were brought on by some of mine. My "shallow" comment wasn't referring to all the Hinata fans, just the ones who only like her for her looks. But I realize now it was wrong for me to pick at the Hinata fanbase. There are fans like that for every character's fanbases, not just Hinata's. I eat my words I guess 'cause now I feel bad.

Maybe I was being too harsh towards the NaruHina fans for celebrating 614. It's not their fault entirely, they're just shipping fans like us. Of course they'd be somewhat happy over it. And Kishimoto is to blame for that reaction. Like a lot of us have said, Neji's death was somewhat lacking. It was rushed and unexpected, literally out of nowhere. I cared, but I didn't care as much as I thought I would because of how Kishi executed it. Some of us felt nothing at all. That doesn't really make us any different than those NH fans who were cheering at the Naruto/Hinata interaction. Some of them probably cared, some probably didn't because their pairing got a moment. Because Neji's death was rushed, can any of us honestly say we wouldn't be cheering over it a little if Sakura was there instead of Hinata? I don't think some of us can, I don't think even I can. The death scene was not perfect and as I recall, some of us were also more focused on our disappointment/annoyance over the NH moment than Neji's actual death. Price of being shipping fans.

Basically, I see the unrealized hypocrisy I was displaying earlier, and I'm sorry for it. And as Slex said, we might actually get along with SS/NH fans knew them in real life and it's actually a shame that a lot of us don't interact positvely with the opposite fandoms. They're still Naruto fans, but the intense shipping wars create a wedge between us. I'm reminded of when I and the entire NS fandom got bashed earlier by a NH fan on Sawyer7mage's review, calling us stupid and in denial because we support NS and believe it will happen. That's a terrible generalization and to insult that person just because they don't support NH is immature. They don't know us, they have no right to call us stupid just because we think different things. The same goes for the NS fans. Just yesterday I saw a NS fan creating a video just to bash Hinata and NH fans. I just read the comments that were complaining about it and immediately lost any interest in watching it. No fandom is freed from those types of fans, not even NS.

None of us is superior and we shouldn't act like it over something as petty as shipping wars. Naruto isn't even really about that, it's about a boy wanting to bring peace to the ninja world, save his friend, and become Hokage. Yet to this day, the constant NS/SS/NH debates get a ridiculously large and fercious focus.
