My god people here have gotten rude. One NH fan shows up to calmly discuss the latest cover--everyone jumps on them and basically tells them to gtfo. Another shows up and acts like a jerk--everyone jumps on them and makes comments about how all NH fans are like that. And now we have yet another coming in and making a thread where they state their case for NH, and what happens?

"omg you're so dumb here let me count the ways, silly NH fan"

Really, guys? What happened to being decent people and debating like mature human beings? If you disagree with them, use the manga to counter their arguments. Don't sit there and throw your bullsh** beliefs at them; what you believe doesn't amount to anything. What happens in the manga is what counts.

If you don't like them being here, don't answer their threads or posts! If you don't like what they say, either quietly report them (if they're breaking rules), or ignore them! If you think they're incorrect in some way, constructively tell them so! Don't roll your eyes and flatly tell them they're deluded or blind, or that they're stupid or a troll. By behaving that way, you are making an ass of yourself. You are in the wrong at that point, and your behavior reflects poorly on the rest of this site and fandom by some extension.

You all go on and on about NH fans being such jerks, being so rude and stupid. Have you looked in a mirror lately? The majority of users here are immature, belligerent, and arrogant to the point of confident stupidity. What kind of forum doesn't allow discussion from the "other side"? You all beat down anyone that might offer some interesting debate material from a NH standpoint because you're just so damn cozy patting each other on the ass for liking the same thing! If you truly expect NS to be canon at some point, and feel that you have actual evidence to back that up, then use that! Don't stand behind the confidence and tell others to get out when they challenge you--let the evidence you've gathered speak for itself.

And that is all I have to say about that, for now. Grow the kitten up, and be kittening nice to people, even when they don't ship what you ship.

You know what's hilarious? The NS and NH fans on Tumblr have called a truce. They got into a miniwar over the cover too, but they realized how dumb it was, and they're calling for a truce between the tags now. If they can do, why the hell can't the people here do it?

And now a thread has been closed! A thread that could have been turned towards discussion was closed because NS members of this forum got on their high horses and made enough of a fuss. Did none of you notice that there was one NH fan in that thread by the end? There was one, and they were being fairly reasonable. In contrast, there were at least four NS fans going at it, being aggressive and rude. By constantly crying "kitten!" you guys created one all on your own. And so the thread was closed--rudely, and childishly.

You choose to end the thread by only acknowledging the NH member? You don't talk to the NS members that really caused most of the problem? You agree with them, even making a snide comment towards Hinata, and in turn, her fans?

This place is just ridiculous anymore. Just. Sad.

Ahhh footbinding is gross, but the history for it is fascinating. Sitting in Chinese History, waiting for the last half-hour to be over so spring break can finally begin! I get to go to a Japanese restaurant tomorrow for lunch, and maybe go shopping with my grandma. Should be interesting.
