That guy. This one is just a commentary video from him. but he does a lot of debates, and he's really good In my opinion. He mostly challenges Muslims, but he's done a few Atheists too I think. There are video's of other debates there too. Interesting stuff.

I have a hard time understanding his points because he's re-reading the passages but they don't contradict with what David is saying

LOL Ok I'm not sure I following you in here what do you mean by that !?   . So you were an Orthodox like me  .

It means that I thought a lot about it 0: I discovered all the contradictions and other things in religion. I first began being immature about it and but then I realized that people are not less intelligent blah blah if they believe in god and what not. I also understood that religion =/= than believing in god.

Really? I also am an agnostic. But I enjoy the budhist philosophy. I think the contradictions that religions have are too many. Though I like historical Jesus, the person, not the "son of god" or something. He never contradicted himself, from everything I read about him. And I think he was an amazing person, even if I don't believe he was divine.

Well, now you know, Agnostic people simply accept that they don't know if god exists or not and most of them doesn't care, because there is no proof of it. Thus, following the rules dictated by a being that they don't even know if is real sounds irrational. Why do people always want to have something bigger above them? Why do they feel like they need something to obey or they'll feel lost? Why do people have to be "good" because they fear god and not because they want to be good? I wonder. 

You know, I believe that some people just NEED to believe there is someone else watching for them. People born and die alone, but with good always looking they are never alone. If everyone fails, then go will take care of them? god. If there is no hope anymore...who will give them hope? god. and so on... Some people just don't like the idea of being alone. Some people just want someone else to take their "sins" away from them. If that works for them, who am I to say it's not right? That's why I say that believing there is a personification of god is different from religion...

Not only that but instead of spending his time building his OWN arguments he uses video's from other people, comes up with crazy conspiracy theories, and numerous other fallacies. He's debated David Wood TWICE, the first time was a catastrophe for him...he's a little bit better this time considering he's not throwing a fit like a 5 year old.

Oh Ok  Orthodox Church accepts the contradictions (some) but still have faith in Jesus Christ and his teachings XD . I understand what you mean I thought it was something bc of corruption of the churches  in our time LOL XD That pisses me of  the most   .

I just don't follow things like abstinence of meat and all. But I really like it. 

 

Yeah, I think being a religious person is better than seeing no purpose in your life and end up being depressed. I totally understand them, I'm just glad I don't need that to be in good terms with life.
