Hinata has been kidnapped by the moon. In that moment she was bringing with herself a red scarf, since she wanted to give it to Naruto. Operation: "Save Hinata-hime" ordered by Kakashi starts with Naruto leader of the rescuing team. On the way, he notices some red woollen strands so he can be able to track her down towards the Moon. So Naruto flies himself to the Moon and here he finds Hinata, unconscious. Naruto saves her and brings her on the Earth. The Moon has been defeated, Hinata awakens and says to Naruto how he did track her and Naruto says "I noticed some red strands on the ground, so I thought that it could be from a some red scarf and I was right, dattebayo! This red scarf.... is "our red scarf of the destiny". I'm starting to like red scarves and, above all, to love you really much, Hinata-chan! Dattebayo!"

 

A new timeskip happens. It's been a long time. Naruto is now the 7th Hokage, has 3 kids with Hinata. Their name are: Shinachiku, Shinata and Tonata. And here they will live happily forever. A story of a gutsy boy who had never gave up on his dreams."

 

SasuSaku? Offpanel development. still a better romance than Twilight though

 

arigato Kishimoto-sensei, your story gives me hope for the life.

Awww that's so sweet of Hinata. One scarf is enough to over rule all the NS development in the manga, one scarf is enough to kill one pairing and make another one relevant. That's the logic of the NH fandom "screw the 600+ chapters of NS development, the scarf makes NH absolute". Let's remember that we STILL don't know the identity of the mystery girl and still think the whole scarf thing is ridiculous and its over thinking. I swear if the mystery girl is not Hinata I'm going to laugh, its not like the NH fandom is always wrong right?

I think regarding this New Era Project that it could be one of three things.

1. a continuation of the manga either with older naruto or his kid.
2. a continuation of the anime which means a bunch of filler (like GT)
3. A sequence of movies similar to whats happening with the DBZ movies
