Wasn't that the chapter when kishi slowly started to hit the reset button? Sakura was acting like her 12 year old meanwhile naruto just stands there while sakura get mentally abused and not caring much which is very very occ of him. Oh and kakashi defending ss in the worst way as possible.

Yeah that's the one. Sakura was completely reset as a character in that chapter, so she amounted to nothing throughout the entire 700 chapter story. And yeah Kakashi was being really OOC in that chapter. It seemed like everyone was except Sasuke, at least until the ending where we find out what he said to Sakura in 693 was just him lying even though he's supposed to be blunt and honest.

 

Idk, sometimes I think that certain ppl care more about NS on the site. I understand ppl have different opinions and everything but what delivered the coup de grace for me in 693 was how it just ruined Sakura's character.

 

After that I knew it was over. Sure perhaps NS would still have happened but since the beginning of the series Sasuke has been Sakura's achilles heel. Whenever he was gone her true character shown through and she was amazing, but as soon as he came back she regressed. It still makes me angry every time I think about how she just went and groveled at his feet despite all of the horrible things he put her through.

 

It was then that Naruto as a story was ruined and its morals corrupted. 

Yeah you're right, Sasuke has always been Sakura's greatest weakness as a character so it's absolutely ridiculous that SS actually happened. I agree that 693 really was the death of her character, though that chapter was also a sign that the ending wasn't going to be just bad or disappointing but insulting and even disgusting.

Marketing works pretty nice with these simple-minded fandoms. Sorry about the cap lock in some parts of the mini rant, but this made me really angry. I don't like when people lie and negates the fact just to try to convince the rest that they are right, when they aren't.

People are stupid and have selective memories. They only remember things the way they want them to be, not the way they actually are. And when they can't face reality they start altering the reality to suit their own narrative. I really hate these sort of people, something terrible happened recently and I just saw how fast people can change in flash in order for them to not be affected.

Agreed. Besides these people really shouldn't care what we think anymore right? I mean NH is canon and NS is as dead as it can possibly be in the canon story. So really they don't even need to acknowledge us now, but they do anyway. I guess the NH fandom can't be satisfied without hating on the NS fandom that has dwindled away as most of us are done with this BS series.

Personally, when I first read chapter 693, I was a little worried but then I thought that it was maybe the perfect moment for Sakura to forget about Sasuke and open her eyes and see who was the right guy for her...Little did I know that later, she would turn into her 12 years old self.

Well the reason why I'm saying 690 is because it is technically where the war ends.  The other reason why I'm saying that is because it saves the characters from what happens to them once Sasuke declares revolution on the world.  Plus it was after that chapter where I thought you can take the series in any direction that you possibly can. Which is why I believe 690 is the spot for me to stop, and I know there are some people that are like but but Naruto vs Sasuke didn't even happen there, yes I know but you can try to picture how those events can shape out in your head.

 

 

 

 

it's after 690 where you can have 691 take place, the dismissing of the infinite Tsukiyomi ,  and then you know Have a Damn Break a small rest like idk have 3 for 4 chapters about reshaping the world from the war and then the final battle between Naruto and Sasuke <- Kishi again looking at you specifically. Oh well I'm sure get my point about why I pick 690 as the stopping point for the series because again leave it Open ended for the audience to come up with head canons on where the series goes from there.

100% THIS !!!  . To be honest I'be been hating the writing since the Sasuke wanking chase kitten  then Kage Summit and only confirmed Kikitten's inconsistent  writing  it turn everything to kitten for me and after that War arc made that even more apparent  . So I was only waiting for some conclusive ending and NS  I could have looked over the inconsistent  backgrounds and all the forced BS  but still wouldn't have given the series more then 7 . Now it isn't even worth rating  , I mean you can't rate something that is kitten right !? .kitten is kitten  its stinks either way  .

Just show them that page, Sakura saved Naruto's life during their first mission, otherwise he'd have been cut in two by Zabuza's cleaver...actions speak louder than words, also people who want to put an argument should be able to tell the difference between Actual Manga and Filler, you never see a NS fan use the fillers for our arguments, NH fans seem to it all the time.
