Um, should I even bother to comment it? Because I will tear it...
No need. It's a Hinata fan, who gave reasons as to why NaruSaku should be canon.

Oh wait, now that I read it clearly, I didn't know it was the other way around. Sorry.

i'm not very clear on this 'rebound guy/girl' thing. doesn't it mean the same thing in narusaku / naruhina if either of them become canon?
I can't even say good bye to you for the last time
I'm sorry

I haven't heard this argument in a long time actually. I think most people realize what you've basically pointed out now.

This is rare to see these days.

That's surprising. I don't see how you can make that argument o.0, since it can apply in both situations.

@qia: u see.
It's this simple. I saw Naruto realizing/accepting Sakura loves Sasuke, and was heartbroken once. To you, this fact disappeared and meant nothing. To me, it's very much in the back of my head throughout all of Part 2 up to this point. Anything Naruto did after that, realistically, as far as Naruto is concerned, he's not expecting anything in return from Sakura. IMO, he was left without his 1st option (3 years ago?).I understand you don't see it the way I do, and that's fine with me. I won't imply you are being stupid/dumb like you do to me. I'll just accept your views as your views, and hopefully you accept mine as my view. You won't ever convert me to your beliefs, ever. So don't bother.

I think the same, it also explains why he's always surprised when she displays affection towards him, hug, feed scene and others he's always surprised because she only showed her tender side towards Sasuke.
I never saw her as an example feeding Naruto when he's at the hospital like she does with Sasuke(cutting apples), or she did but i dont remember.
(They did that on a movie i guess with Naruto dreaming that Sakura was feeding him).

@Dαrkrєrsŧ: But he never lose interest in sakura, like jiraiya. so the 'rebound' thing still go both ways.

Hmm I see....the thing is he wasn't just "heartbroken once" and got over it. If he's over it, then why is he worried about confessing his feelings based on that recent Sai flashback? (aren't they supposed to be non-existent at this point, according to that person's interpretation?). Obviously, she's still at least in his mind, and his feelings are still there enough for him to be disappointed that he can't confess since he can't keep his promises to her. Therefore, if he were to move on to anyone else now, that person could still be seen as rebound girl.

Jiraiya never lose interest on Tsunade he just closed himself, just like Naruto.
What Naruto is doing is the same that Jiraiya did, after what happened he's totally on defensive and never did anything serious like inviting her to a date seriously or buying gifts, if i remember only Kakashi got a present when they come back.
In fact he never tried to win points over her, when he came back he showed maturity maybe just to mock her, and due to that when he was being "mature" just for her she was about to fall into this.

Well, Naruto doesn't know a woman's heart like Jiraiya once said. Maybe if he got the same advice from Shikamaru's dad, he will get the idea, though that's a maybe. He is dense you know. While it is a movie, it was used when Sai read a book about a woman's heart such as being aggressive yet means caring but Naruto is like "Eh?" Pretty much he has to learn it himself. I mean the whole Tobirama explaining how they escaped the blast tells you Naruto isn't that bright.

He pretty much got that from his mom now or...
Kinda weird why on the begining he was playing the mature guy, maybe he knows how to win but he just think that he's not good enough for her because of the promise.
Remember that he explained why he never made any "moves" on her because of the promise, that scene was more to explain why he never does this kind of stuff rather than state that he still loves her.

Well, I thought it was mature of him to keep his feelings inside rather than go out and say, "Screw him, let's talk about me and how I can be the best." Not saying he should always keep it inside, but he shouldn't go to first base asap like how in part 1 he was looking into that. Now, he's just growing bond, unintentionally if I may add, and it's like a blessing in disguise that it's done this way because clearly Sakura is undergoing changes and Naruto doesn't need to woo her to make it happen. It just happens, human nature. It's like if he were to confess her in the beginning of part 2, maybe it would be done, but Sasuke returns, we will be entering a bad love triangle that even Dead Space 3 and Twilight would look like a masterpiece of love. So, in a way, it's good that it's going this route. For now and to me at least.

I would adress that the problem with Naruto's confession is the fact that Sakura put Naruto's happiness above her own, in fact the problem is that on the summit she was clearly decided to return Naruto's feelings despite knowing she loved someome else and that was really bad.
The good part is that at least she realized the things she did ot Naruto, the bad part is that while she said that Naruto was a fool for loving someome like her she didnt give the same treatment to her feelings about Sasuke i mean he only did bad things to her and she doesnt think she's a fool for loving him.
Just by that it would had already been resolved but it only showed that Sakura has clearly strong self confident and acknowledgement problems.
I think Naruto literally has to say that she's an amazing woman and yadda yadda because she's not going to give merits to herself or realize this by herself.
