I think it was more the way Kagome is portrayed as just so controlling and bratty a lot of the time.

Inuyasha doesn't do something she wants? Sits. Inuyasha says something she doesn't like (even if it's truthful, if blunt)? Sits. And so on. Are there times he deserves it? Sure, but those times aren't anywhere near as many as people may like to think they are as opposed to Kagome simply being a controlling brat.

Personally, I always felt he had a much better and deeper relationship with Sango, while I found Miroku and Sango to be just...stupid overall, mostly in terms of how Sango could possibly keep going back to him with the way he just blatantly disregards her own feelings with his perverseness (even after he supposedly confesses/proposes) and asking every pretty girl in sight to have his child. It just does a big disservice to her otherwise strong and independent character.

I guess that make sense. I just don't like killing one character off to make love triangle conclude without concluding individually.

kikyo will always have a big chunk of inuyasha's heart. xD

Despite that, InuKago will be one of my OTPS.

Funny thing is; I shipped Murko x Sango pretty hard back in the day, even though, I wanted to slap Murko many times during the series. Like during and after the proposal; he still asked many girls to be his wife. I was like man Sango would be better off alone than with this kitten in real life as a girl would never put up with his kitten. I never saw the supposed deeper relationship with Inuysha had with Sango, now I did see him have a deeper relationship with Kikyo than Kagome. So yeah Kikyo was his first choice while Kagome was the rebound after Kikyo's death. <----------- That is just sad

Not really; if you have a good enough writer you could easily write how they both moved on from each other without destroying the characters integrity like Kishimoto has in his story.

It's a bit of a mess, but I guess it will do. Kind of odd for Kagome to fight over her feelings or something and told Kikiyo that she is more capable than her. It was in that fog scene.

Fine, but it's pretty rare to write it good. Rebound is ok but it doesn't give you a grade A writing. It's like playing DDR with one step that says "Fair" while the rest is "perfect"," you won't get perfect overall.

You can write it good, but not all people will like the outcome. It's subjective outcome from reader/watcher/gamer.

I disagree on rebound. It's about how you write it. Because most canon couple that I read in manga have that rebound thing. I mean syaoran, guts, and godai are practically a rebound, does it mean that couple is bad? Nope.

Yeah, but I mean it depends on how it is written. The thing is love triangle rebound (especially a long series) could paint a bad light. If it's a rebound because of a tragic event that didn't have love triangle, then it's fine by me. If it's like "I chose her. No, I chose you! Oh wait, you just died. I really love you more but oh well, it's her time!" Some series do prefer to have the person to never moving on, which at times is not a bad thing, so long no one acknowledge the problem. Make it as a lesson, not a problem.

In my post I didn't mean to make rebound sound like a bad thing.

It just depends how the writing is & how believable the couple is.

As much as it hurts me, Kagome being a rebound was pretty sh-tty since kikyo had to die.
