I know your reaction guys, but now all this looks like another Naruto-movie, with "The Last" in it. And hime-like characters - is Hinata.

Btw - if you forgot, leaked pictures had both childrens in there, so... you know. But so far - movie looks nothing like canon Naruto or even close to it, so only hope for genjutsu and other theoris, because this is - not a proper end for what I read for 7 years.

You know if the movie is truly like the trailers suggests then what SP together with Kishi are literally hanging a sign on them that says:

I don't use tumblr, but I do try to stay within the loop. Right now, however? I can't endure the wave of disappointment and disgust that rushes at me whenever I catch anything pertaining to this horrid movie.

 

Could you please just give a short summary of what they're saying, Trang? 

He's a tumblr user who will attend the movie on or after December the 6th. He lives in Tokyo, but unfortunately could not attend the early screening. I thought that if you had a tumblr account, you could check his posts from time to time. He posts very interesting posts regarding the LAST. A few days ago, I quoted one of his long rants when someone asked him about the apparent under representation of Sasuke. You might or might not have read it already, but I'll post it again for you.- I personally like reading over it. It makes me feel better.

 

 

Yes! Very disappointed and upset! And they (and me) have a reason to because we bought the pre-sale tickets 2 months in advance. The pre-sale tickets come with a a Naruto, Sasuke or Kakashi JUMP manga cover so naturally many fans thought they will all 3 will play a big role in the movie. Even if not a big role at least more than 1 line! So this means the marketers KNEW we would fall for their dirty tactics and now people who bought the tickets feel cheated (and rightly so!)  Sasuke and Kakashi are now labelled as 客寄せパンダ ‘Customer gathering panda’ which means they are like the cute pandas at the zoo whom you hear about and get excited for but when you get there the panda is sleeping or not available to see! I mean if they’re not in the movie so much then sell the tickets with Naruto and Hinata goods instead! Don’t intentionally sell to the Sasuke or Kakashi fanbase as well! They are evil!!

Most of the fans were looking forward to some hard core movie-style action with a showdown between Naruto and Sasuke or maybe teaming up together to go up against Toneri or Kakashi being a badass Rokudaime Hokage. But apparently all Kakashi does is sit in meetings with the other village Kages and it might as well have been Tsunade there, we got used to seeing her as part of the 5 Kages anyway. He is discussing what to do about the moon because armageddon is coming. Turns out it doesn’t matter what they do anyway cause Toneri is just in love with Hinata for some reason as a plot device for Naruto to go save her. It’s a NaruHina movie so him going to rescue her is to be expected but to write the story so that it renders every other character useless just doesn’t feel right with me. Oh and Sasuke says that one line in that trailer. Apparently he saves Hiashi and the village but no one knows and he just leaves again.

As for SasuSaku of course I am disappointed! I used to be a major SasuSaku fan but that was quite a long time ago back during part 1 because before Sasuke fell into the darkness he was a really great guy. Will never forget how he took all those needles for Naruto back in Wave Country arc and Forest of death etc. Now that Naruto is able to bring back the old Sasuke it would have been nice to see him appreciating Sakura and see a more softer side of him. If SasuSaku and NaruHina is decided to be the canon couples that is absolutely fine but there are many many believable ways to do that WITHOUT rendering Naruto’s feelings towards Sakura useless first and creating a villain with the personailty of a toothpick in some generic save-Princess Hinata story. He’s supposedly a descendant of Kaguya yet his intentions or background are not explained, nor why he wants Hinata’s special byakugan or why he’s so in love with her that he needs to make her his wife! It would’ve been a great chance to learn more about the history of the Rikudosennin Sage of 6 paths and their family history but no … this is just a love story through and through! And a badly written one!

Oops I didn’t mean to rant so much. Anyway I hope that answers your questions!

In the future, I will post more of his posts once he visited the movie ( I can already imagine his reaction).

Seriosly, I will lost a lot of my respect to japanes people if they will like this movie as a final to 15 years of manga and especially if NH is endgame.

Also, I'm not asking for him to change it, I just want the kitten to pay for not only ruining the pairings, but completely kittening everything in his series for this movie. I mean Naruto and co. in outer space? Hinata with a chakra cloak? Giving Hinata Sakura's background? Some kitten scarf that never meant anything is now so important? Out of nowhere decendant from the most powerful clan ever, want a second class Hyuga? This has got to be the kittentiest shounen ending in history and I want him called out for it.

Whether it's from seeing Hinata plastered everywhere or the thought of how kitten this series became, I will never know.
