I wish every single one of those contraptions could be piled together and then incinerated with Kishi, Nana Mizuki, the little assistant, and all of Pierrot watching. Then someone can offer a speech to describe to all of them how the story was damaged and how they as writers intent on conveying a proper moral lesson to the youth had lost themselves in the end - it would be worth it all just to see Kishi's reaction as his own character's words are thrown back at him.

I wish it was like wrestling, where one show was hijacked by fans and they are forced to change plan; a plan that made the MOST sense. True story.

 

But then that's begs the question on who would be doing the hijacking? Us or them? It already feels like the story was ripped from our clutches when Kishi bent his knee under the pressure of marketers, executives, and the pantomime studio.

She's like a personification of all the greed and literary corruption that Kishi embraced at the end. A large part of the incentive for giving that little Hyuga girl her undeserved wishes stems from the revenue that everyone stands to gain if her image and voice is used in this movie.

Naah no sasusaku. It would just give a proper resolve to their friendship and her feelings for Sasuke.  She forgives him and they're friends but she'd still have gotten her revenge for him trying to kill her (3 times) and generally ignoring her and making her feel like crap.

 

The ideal would be no sasusaku of course! Since its basically a relationship without a reason to become romantic at all 

 

what i mean to say is..if kishi wanted to put sasusaku , the least bad way he could put it would be without hurting sakura's character would be sakura standing up to sasuke at least once and not becoming a sobbing/blushing mess whenever he is around

Even though it seems like Kishimoto may have changed his story halfway through, we actually don't have any solid, concrete evidence. For all we know, he might have just chosen NH bad SS because they seemed to be two popular ships, not because his editors forced him to do so. He'll probably defend his actions if confronted about it in any interviews he gives.

I love that guy. He really knows how to sell the story. I like the matches with him and Seth. Hell of a story.

MY GOD LOL. WHY IT DIDN'T END AS PAIN LOL. YOU GIVE ME A DOUBLE DOSE of mixed feeling HERE LOL. AS a NS fan it's totally that but as the story in general.

I LOVED PAIN AS A VILLAIN. If we forget the war arc and Tobi. It could have been Naruto vs Sasuke sooner. Konan help them dissolve the remaining Akatsuki (Zetsu got a better power and eff, we forget the war)  And since Sasuke join the Akatsuki, we could have seen a small party vs taka and the akatsuki and we could have seen Naruto (with sage mode, he's at a kage level) pass the jonin exam, to show that he is ready to be a leader. He could have pass it with Sakura and either Sasuke( but in this scenario, he is either in prison or just not authorise to take the exam until he regain trust) or Shikamaru( since both defeat an Akatsuki, which are S rank criminal, they should easily qualify to go jonin. Naruto with his skill would have become Hokage, but with advisors (Kakashi, Sakura, Shikamaru ) to end part 2.

 

Part 3 could have been about the threat of Kabuto,where Naruto is challenge now not to get the Hokage title but to lived up to it. Who need a next generation anyway. The Hokage who tried to make piece with the remaining 4 great nation.

If that's true then he's been stringing us along with the Databooks, the parallels, foreshadowing, the various other literary devices used to reinforce the deeper connection shared between Naruto and Sakura, and the resemblances of the CPR moment where Sakura's outcries of supporting his ridiculous dream of being Hokage and her utmost refusal to watch him die link back to Itachi's meaningful account that Minato could only succeed with the support of his beloved and loyal wife, Kushina. It's so glaringly obvious that these two were the intended links that you would have to be in denial to suggest that it sub-textually meant anything else.

So is it worth checking out?

I haven't read it myself, but most reviewers agree it's not worth it. People have recommended Fullmetal Alchemist (the manga it the Brotherhood anime, not the original anime), and while I love the series to death for it's humour and good story, there's not a very big focus on romance until the end.

A shonen series I did like when it came to romance was Samurai Deeper Kyo (again, not the anime). I had to put it down several times because the ecchi-ness made me vomit though.

The Tsubasa Chronicle manga is also good when it comes to storytelling, until about half way when it goes full Clamp mode and no one can finish a sentence without talking about "inevitability". It also has an open ending. =|

I agree. Don't forget Karin was randomly made an Uzumaki as well or why Sakura has smiled at Naruto at almost every arc without him noticing.

But it's another thing entirely to confront an author about "why he changed his story" without him admitting it himself. Just like Charlie Sheen chewed his producer out, Kishimoto can't just say his employer pressured him to do it without facing any repercussions. Moreover, it would force him to admit he was a bad writer, which is an extremely embarrassing thing to do.
