Don't see the problem.

 

We're doing the exact same thing, aren't we? The setup indicates Naruto's Rin is Sakura, but until it's confirmed NS shippers will say Sakura, NH will say Hinata. Non-shippers will stay out of it and say Naruto just cried because Obito's story is sad, and while that is very reasonable, I still think it's inevitable to bring up Sakura at some point, in some way.

I think that the two cases are different, obviously he cried because well he saw Obito wanting to be kage, then there was a girl who supported him, then there was his team with this girl and Kakshi, then she died indicating that he vowed to protect her and failed.

Mirrors to his story obviously which he cried, i didnt see him crying on Nagato's backstory which was far more sad than Obito's.

 

It's kinda obvious that Sakura is Naruto's RIn even to non-shippers, non-shippers and neutrals doesnt mean that the fact they will seek a more neutral approach to pairings they will ignore obvious stuff such as those.

In fact he didnt cried because of the possibility of this happening with Sakura but rather the fact that he indeed now understand why Obito wanted to prove he was wrong, his backstory is exactly similar to his.

@ sushi: You have a point, but what annoyed me was the way, they were saying it. Always rising Hinata in a pedestal, saying that Hinata will be his Rin because Obito saw her caring about Naruto while Sakura did nothing in front of him, such as during the track of Itachi, when Obito was facing the rookies, one of the NH fan said that Obito saw Hinata worry about Naruto while Sakura didn't care at all that he was hurt. But in fact, Sakura had just mor faith in Naruto than Hinata ever had. 

The difference is that, we expect Sakura to be parallel to Rin basing on the story and the similitude of the situation, while NH are expecting Hinata basing on their wishes. 

Besides, personnaly, I don't even think there will be a parallel, I would be please by it, but I don't know, I think it would be kind of out of place, in a middle of a battle.

I can't believe it. NH fans are now trying to connect the fact that Naruto cried when he saw Rin dying in Obito's arms with Hinata. They believe that Hinata will be Naruto's Rin because Obito knows Hinata but not Sakura. How does Obito know Hinata? According to them, Sakura has never done something good for Naruto in front of Obito while Hinata sacrificed herself for Naruto in the Pain arc and because he saw the handholding... So Obito should think that there is something between them... Really? 

Naruto will be the one who decide who he loves, not Obito, not Hinata, not them (NH fans), it is NARUTO! And in case, they haven't get the point in this chapter, it seems that Naruto and Obito can read each other's heart, so having seen Naruto and Hinata's complicity doesn't have anything to do with love, if Obito see Sakura in Naruto's heart in the future chapters.

What do you think of their new argument? 

 

 I'm not surprised. I expected as much, but I honestly can't bring myself to care. The chance of Hinata appearing as a parallel to Rin is so microscopic, it's more likely the parallel won't be confirmed at all than for that to happen.

Sorry this is a bit late, 

 

I'm wondering Darkness, why you do not like this idea? Actually I've seen the argument that people see the って from Naruto as potentially being some sort of negative or "joking" jab at Sakura's confession, which of course isn't the case (I just saw this as generally the case). The argument saying that Naruto brought it up (her confession) to "paraphrase it" with heavy implication that he is joking with her (due to the next chapter I believe). But this is an argument that has no backing in it whatsoever. I think that it is okay that people believe that Naruto may have said it in reference to her past confession, I see it as something possible because the sentence left that part ambiguous. But for him to use it as something negative is taking things out of context.

 

I do stand by my translation as only being "Well, something like that..." but I can offer another viewpoint of the scene that I think is a lot more smoother than "quoting" Sakura. More...natural? I really like this best, but if someone was to ask me to add the "tte" into my translation for this scene specifically, I would use the translation above. I would not use "she said/ it is said/ etc."

Well, you can say it is something like that.

 

and of course the it is referencing Minato's girlfriend comment. I'm okay with this translation as well. And in this case it is more direct like "Yes you can say that she is my girlfriend" as opposed to the very indirect "Yes it was said that she's something like my girlfriend" hahaha, sorry if I'm not making any sense I'm trying to explain it best as possible. Really I think it all means the same thing, it's hard to twist it to make some other meaning. I think it's something really simple as this and nothing intricate.

But seriously , If Hinata was Naruto's Rin , we would've had talk plot ninjutsu in 615/616/617 , also people just skip the fact that Naruto does possess strong feelings for Sakura who ignores that is just disingenuous and denies that for their shipping preference. People like those i really dislike.
 

 

They are more scared off about the possibility of Naruto doing a vow that he will get into Sakura's pants to surpass Obito.

 

Oh, yeah , lets ignore the fact that the POAL is in play or he wants to protect her smiling face , this is ridiculously thing to pursue ....

Tenten's name is made up of Ten and Ten. Ten is a number, 10. So her name is actually two numbers together 10 and 10. Naruto's birthday is October 10th. Guess what? October is the 10th month of the year!

Naah, the next week Naruto will tnj Obito by saying that he was able to go on due to the fact he has a  Hinata by his side and leave behind his childish feelings for Sakura. Then Obito regrets and imagines how it would be his life if he returned to the village immediately after his "death". He thinks that perhaps he could become Hokage, could find his Hinata, a sweet gilr who felt true feelings for him and maybe Rin would be alive, together with his best friend Kakashi.
