According to Game Trailers they already have a 4th quarter 2010 release date set for Gears Of War 3, I'm hoping they will get some video footage soon.

New God Of War III footage will be shown tonight on GametrailersTV. Also, Hercules has been confirmed as Kratos' lost brother.

Hercules is the jilted brother who feels the gods have abandoned him and made Kratos the star. It’s completely away from how you’d expect Hercules to be. And the same is true for any of our fights.

Actually....I'd expect HERACLES to be Kratos's brother anyway ever since Kratos's heritage was revealed.... Man, with how familiar they are to Greek myths, I'd think they call him by his Greek name by now....

So I wonder if this will create a window for them to make a game on Heracles? I think it would be awesome if they done a couple games on Heracles and stayed true to the Greek Mythology.

I thought Heracles or in the games case Kratos, older brother was Ares.

They're all related. Heracles, Kratos, and Ares share a father in Zeus. Only Ares retain a full Godhood heritage because his mother is Hera, while Heracles's mother was a human named Alcmene.
Remember, Zeus was Ancient Greece's ultimate male casanova.

Speaking of God of War did anyone pre-order the God of War III ultimate edition? I sure did, everything from the developers art book to the heavy metal inspired sound track for God of War and awesome Pandora's box. Since it's the conclusion I like to get special editions like the Halo 3 Legendary edition. I didn't get the bioshock 2 once since I heard their planning on making like at least 3 more and this special edition sucked anyways.

Brett Retner is going to direct a God of War movie , I hope he makes it true to the game.

If I had money, I'd get the Bioshock 2 LE. Good old fashioned vinyl soundtrack.

Also, Brett Ratner is a hack. God of War will be uber crap if he even touches it.

I think it's pretty decent. It's a bit cliche and the fighting system's almost totally the same as FF13 though. Seriously, you can see right off about how similar it is to Star Wars in the first few scenes. The online georama thing's pretty interesting. I suggest a rent first, then make your decision.
