Final scores

Packers 34 Bills 7
Dolphins 14 Vikings 10
Chiefs 16 Browns 14
Bears 27 Cowboys 20
Falcons 41 Cardinals 7
Buccaneers 20 Panthers 7
Eagles 35 Lions 32
Bengals 15 Ravens 10
Steelers 19 Titans 11
Broncos 31 Seahawks 14
Raiders 16 Rams 14
Texans 30 Redskins 27
Jets 28 Patriots 14
Chargers 38 Jaguars 13

We beat the Lions. That means everything will be fine

Vick wasn't perfect but made enough plays and didn't make any costly mistakes. Stewart Bradley should make the run defense a bit better, but the defense will still be a major concern. This team is on the road to mediocrity, I'm not gonna kid myself. The right move is to stick with Kolb and let him gain experience. And that means no more wildcat, Kolb must stay on the field Andy. Dallas and Washington lost, so that makes it a good day, especially an 0-2 Cowboys team, Home Superbowl my a**.

Try being a Rams fan like me. It's reached the boiling point, four years removed of a winning season with the Greatest Show on Turf and watching the Bucs and the Chiefs go 2-0 is too much to take after watching yesterday's second half.

Thank God Kronkie gets control of the team so he can fire somebody.

Yeah, I was hoping that the game would go to OT.

Week 3 Power Rankings

1. New Orleans Saints Next Game: VS. Atlanta Falcons
2. Green Bay Packers Next Game: @ Chicago Bears (Monday Night Football)
3. Houston Texans Next Game: VS. Dallas Cowboys
4. Indianapolis Colts Next Game: @ Denver Broncos
5. Pittsburgh Steelers Next Game: @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers
6. New York Jets Next Game: @ Miami Dolphins
7. Miami Dolphins Next Game: VS. New York Jets
8. Baltimore Ravens Next Game: VS. Cleveland Browns
9. New England Patriots Next Game: VS. Buffalo Bills
10. Atlanta Falcons Next Game: @ New Orleans Saints

So this week we have another AFC East showdown with Miami hosting the Jets, the Packers & Bears will go at it on MNF, and Houston will look to finally knock off Dallas off their perch. However, Dallas did show up against New Orleans last year in a must win game, so you can't count them out just yet.

Biggest surprise for me was Mark Sanchez. I probably shouldn't talk too much because I barely have time to watch the games anymore, but I was super confused by sports commentators saying that Sanchez has something special when all his numbers prior have said otherwise. Eagles fans, give me a heads up on the Vick/ Kolb situation, why are people saying they want Kolb back when Vick seems to give the Eagles the best chance right now?

Moss had a deja vu type of catch from the 16-0 year, and I only saw the nfl forum notes but I saw a lot of fans (Patriots obviously) giving Revis crap because he pulled his leg muscle or something, saying that was just an excuse from his part on why Moss caught that catch over him.

That Packers game... wow was Rodgers not in rhythm that game. There was that one pass he threw towards someone who was still clearly blocking for him, when he turned to catch the ball he got clocked. I can only imagine what he said when he went back to the huddle.

Steelers run game!

Bears are 2-0! But their second game was against a team that has had problems with consistency in executing.

The Manning Bowl game was the only game I had a chance to sit and watch from beginning until end. It was painful, and it must have been painful for Peyton as well.

Wish I had gotten a chance to watch the Saints game. It sounded like a great game.

I've never gotten around to doing fantasy football... but now my friend has me curious. He's entered into a free fantasy league with huge prizes... and I'm like "what, what!" Next year. smile.gif

So Philly is sticking with Vick after all. Quite the interesting turn of events, yet again.

Yea the city is in a panic/frenzy. I like Vick, hes earned it, but if we wanted to win now, why did we trade away the best QB in franchise history? Part of it, I suppose is that Kolb wouldn't suceed behind the patchwork offensive line we got going. But at the same time, he really has shown nothing this pre-season and the first half against Green Bay. Heh, wouldn't be the first time they try to one up the Phils thats for sure.

I see the Eagles are trying to upstage the Phillies once again. They pulled the McNabb trade during the season opener as well.

Maybe it's the best decision to keep Kolb alive until they assemble an OL that can protect him. Kolb is a pocket passer and can't escape from pressure like Vick. And you know what, it might not be so bad. Vick has some great offensive weapons and makes up for the lack of running game that AR refuses to implement. It's going to be a lot of fun to watch (as long as you aren't a Kolb fan tongue.gif ) this team over the next few weeks.

Im a Kolb fan, well Im a fan of whoever is out there. I know Vick can do well, and he is going to be very entertaining to watch with these weapons. PArt of the decision is that the rest of the offense has rallied around him and consider him their leader. So they didn't want to split the locker room. Hopefully, Kolb will be ready next season, or even this one if things go sour. I want a super bowl contender though, so watching this year is gonna be brutal. Because its going to end how it always does.

Could be worse, you could have Derek Anderson as your QB. 0-8 third downs versus the Falcons. sleep.gif

Final scores

Titans 29 Giants 10
Bengals 20 Panthers 7
Cowboys 27 Texans 13
Chiefs 31 49ers 10
Steelers 38 Buccaneers 13
Patriots 38 Bills 30
Ravens 24 Browns 17
Vikings 24 Lions 10
Falcons 27 Saints 24 (Overtime)
Eagles 28 Jaguars 3
Rams 30 Redskins 16
Colts 27 Broncos 13
Cardinals 24 Raiders 23
Seahawks 27 Chargers 20

The Jaguars are scrubs. Simple as that. Horrible horrible team. The Eagles are on top of the NFC East, but it's still tough for me to get excited. I just don't trust the defense against better Offenses. Vick played one hell of a game, I was really impressed by some of the throws he made, he's still a dynamic playmaker. But man do we have the worst O-Line in the NFL. They flat out suck. But hey, 5 is coming to town, so I'm ready for that. A must win for the Skins, so it'll be even more intense. Hmm a big game? Eagles will lose for sure, yay kruemelmonsteryn0.gif

Dallas won, not too surpised, they're too talented to be 0-3. They'll probably win the division.

What the hell happened? They had a good game against the Saints, and they get their ass kicked by...the CHIEFS?!

And the Raiders are doing better than them. FML.

They are the team to beat. Because everyone IS BEATING THEM
The 49er's were and are overrated when it comes to this year. They play in the NFC West, which in comparison with another sport makes them the NL Central. Who cares my team is officially better than them right now! w00t!

Also the Chiefs are currently the surprise of the year. I wouldn't discount them as people on TV have.

Now how Bout Them Dolphins. Seriously how about the Dolphins they're looking pretty good against the Jets at the moment. NY 24-20 in the 4th but Miami has the ball.

oooo new faces in this thread, I like. Jets-Dolphins was a great game, Mark Sanchez looked legit.

And the niners need a decent QB and then they'd be contenders.

Chiefs could win the division, Chargers suck.

Yay Vick. If we beat the skins I might get a little excited.
