i'm not saying they have to have the same type of personality, and if oda does make them a rivalry i highly doubt he would copy/paste his personality to match wb's or roger's.
i don't think oda is lazy enough to rehash the same rivalry based solely off of personality. that's why i believe there is a chance that luffy and kid can have that rivalry that wb and roger had, though not absolutely the same. plus, having luffy work his way to kid's respect would be more challenging than earning law's respect. i would love to see how their relationship plays all.
you're probably right though, i'm just not a big fan of law. his fanbase annoys me a bit.

That's true. Honestly, I want to see Luffy and Law's relationship explored. I want to see what Law really thinks of Luffy. I think Kid has some respect for Luffy, I just think that he wants to kill Luffy more than he respects him. I kinda wanna see how kid plays into the story.
