That's not narcissism at all though...
You can be arrogant, but it can come as a result of not thinking something through, you can subconsciously assign more value to yourself than you're actually worth. Arrogance is a function of being conceited, which Shouto's line of thought is.
Arrogance is the belief that you are better than someone on virtue of being you. It doesn't have to be a predominant thought though. I would say that there are two types of arrogance, Bakugou and Shouto. Bakugou believes he's the best for no reason at all, he's outwardly arrogant and knows it. Shouto is arrogant subconsciously, he had to be told his line of though was arrogant; his type of arrogance was a result of him not thinking all the way through his plan/goal.
Narcissism is extreme self interest in yourself, based on physical appearance or vanity, basically someone that enjoys how they look a little too much.
Thx for the explanation.
I'm honestly not sure if it is arrogance or narcissism that describes Shouto. All I know is that Shouto's thougth process irked me, and that I'm glad that Deku called him out for it.
Here's to hope that this won't go down the dark path route for Shouto b/c I've had it up to here with these gone-bad boys (Hakuryuu ). I'll trust Horikoshi to not go down that path for neither Shouto or Bakugou.
