So going by other forums I think it's safe to say we can officially dub this epilogue the crapilogue of all mangas the same way the Harry Potter epilogue is the crapilogue of all novels.

 

Why do I say this? BC NOBODY liked either of these epilogue. The Harry Potter epilogue is hated by everybody in the HP fandom. It was vague, cheezy as all hell I mean Albus Severus for a name, REALLY!?It's titled as the crapilogue of epic cheezy proportions and we just met it's manga counterpart.

 

NH and SS fans are not happy either, nobody is and I find this so dang telling about how sloppy of a writer Kishi is, it's just appalling what he's done.

 

This movie will bomb, many will not watch especially ones that were not satisfied with this ending. Kishi just made sure "The Last" will be the last thing we will see of Naruto because no way are the NS Japanese fans going to go see this garbage. It isn't just us but the fact that the canon fandoms did not like the ending makes me kind of think we got the last laugh in the end. BC it had to get THIS bad in order for their pairings to happen. I find that highly amusing.

Oh well... I was expecting this outcome, even though I had that tiny little faith still holding on to me.

 

About the story: well, it's still a kitten ending (probably the worst ending I can remember, even school days had a better ending because, at least, it was coherent with the flow of the story) but I don't wish anything bad for Kishimoto, I only wish that with his next work he is at least coherent with his own story and characters... not that it matters anymore to me, I'll probably never read anything from this man again.

 

And I actually got to learn something from this story: Never get into pairings wars because logic doesn't matter. In the end, what truly matters is the author's final decison, even if said decision goes against every single one of his previous decisions...

As soon as I read this chapter, I knew I had to return here after all these years to share in the misery...

 

Look, I think we figured out many years ago that Kishi was horrible at writing females. With that in mind, this was probably the way he was going to go with it.

 

Ultimately, the damming scene of Sakura's character is not ending up with Sasuke. No, the worst is her one and only appearance in chapter 700.

 

While all of her peers are still doing ninja stuff, Sakura, the supposed heir to 5th Hokage Tsunade, is a housewife dusting off the living room waiting for Sasuke to come home.

 

Kishi somewhat foreshadowed this waaaaaay back in the first meeting of team 7 when Kakashi thinks to himself that girls are more interested in love than being ninjas.

 

Well...there you have the result. Sakua has achieved her ultimate happiness. Doesn't matter how she got there, or how many times the object of her affection berated her and attempted to actually kill her, when Sasuka ultimately finally agreed to be with her, it was all worth it. Because being married to Sasuke was all Sakura  ever had to live for.

 

Kishi...normally I'd congratulate you on such a well played troll, but the fact is this wasn't a troll. You really think this way about women. Sad this is the message you leave us with.

i don't remember honestly... it was recent? to me she always looked to be a SS shipper from her tone...
