I was wondering the same thing. My assumption was that Kishi was purposefully inhibiting both Naruto and Sasuke from using the abilities that they acquired since they first encountered each other at the beginning of P2 in order to increase the shock value of when they would finally encounter each other in their final battle. To bring to the front everything that they had ever learned whilst being apart and provide their thoughts on the other's new abilities. Apparently Kishi disagrees with that prospect because in this recent chapter Sasuke used Kagutsuchi and Naruto unleashed an FRS in KM side by side in order to protect Sakura. Neither one was astonished nor were they even provided with a panel detailing their reaction to the other's technique which they had never seen before.

Maybe we will get some sort of panel next chapter of them reacting to each others new abilities, well at least Sasuke, this chapters main focus was on Sakura so that could be why there was none.

Sasuke isn't even aware that Naruto is capable of using SM, is he? That would surely provoke a response from him as the enhancements offered from the mode would allow Naruto techniques to overpower much of what Sasuke is capable of (excluding the advanced stages of Susanoo). If they were to ever have fight in close quarters with each other then Naruto should definitely make use of the Frog Katas and his sensing capabilities. Perhaps it causes Sasuke to be taken aback by Naruto's unexpected ability that is quite reminiscent of Kabuto's. Personally, I would enjoy seeing him make a comparison between the two modes during his reaction.

Well I'm happy that Kishi hold Naruto's RKM for possible climax to the battle. I mean it does seem like the next time he change to it, he will go all out and probably end it. Maybe. Hm, where can they go next here? Is it like some action adventure game, just keep until health bar is gone?

Heres a scary part to consider. Sakura may not have YET unleashed her true power. the Yin seal as released shows marks on the face per what weve seen with tsunades release of it.

Sakura has no marks save the diamond mark on her forehead.

So barring this being an oops on kishimoto senseis part or an intentional drawing.

Then we can conclude reasonably that Sakura has YET to unleash the full potential she has. She is just now using her current chakra at max efficiency.

When she actually unleashes the yin seal or even more amazing Uses Byakugo she could potentially outshine both sasuke and Naruto.

Lol, well Naruto looks like he's getting a special version of RKM if going by other beasts indicates it. As for Sasuke, well yeah, Sharingan, though he can showcase more I think. I think it was smart for Kishi to have Naruto not ready for the full RKM since he's still recovering. Once he does, guess who's going to take the glory. This is chapter 5. Full RKM can be very well a climax moment.

I am inclined to agree here. Sakura's seal has magnified her already enormous strength several fold but it will not be sufficient enough to place her on equal footing with her teammates, in regards to personal abilities. If it's validated that Sakura's mobility receives an increase as well then she can undoubtedly be classified as a Kage tier fighter and with the full exploitation of her seal, if she can become even more powerful, then it's possible that she may rival SM Naruto/MS Sasuke but I believe that that may be the extent of her technique's usage.

I'm sorry if this is bashing, but seriously. That is not enough for a parallel. Minato already confirmed Sakura was like Kushina. NaruSaku= MinaKushi. It was confirmed. Kishi made it clear enough in the RtN movie.

I dont personally think that sakura can surpass naruto in bijuu mode. There is no way that sakura can outpower the nine tails and naruto together... thats just a little bit silly. But im proud of how far she's gotten as a character :)

Sakura's power is only in the Yin seal release, the inital, yet the strength of 100 may be around too. Other then that, wouldn't Sakura be the haxxor this time? Doesn't make her any less awesome.

 

I actually didn't say this before but my take on her power, its going to be treated like tsunades, just reforms on its own. If anything Sakura kinda fulfilled the white mage or healer role you see in so many other games or RPGs. Anyone who plays final fantasy knows you don't mess with the white mage, they protect, heal, and buff the other party members, but by god once they learn the holy spell near the end of any game, they become one of the strongest of all. I get the feeling that Sakura's being stronger, and her only being 16 are natural advantages. Just think about her power like this: What makes her unique is unlike Naruto and Sasuke, their mentors did not teach them their greatest abilities, Naruto learned sage mode from Fukasuku and learned to master Kurama from many people. Sasuke merely lost his curse mark and gain Itachi's powers and eyes. technically Sakura would have been the strongest if these other events did not happen.

 

In my opinion the Yin seal will remain on Sakura, just vanish temporialy like tsunades does when it runs out of power, think of it like this, compared to her teammates how much energy does Sakura have? Naruto has a crap load of chakra, just being an uzumaki he has 4X the normal amount of any regular person. Kurama's power gives him access to about 100X the amount of a normal person. Sage mode gives him access to nature energy, which he can use to supplement his own normal chakra too. Naruto is the only character in the entire naruto universe to have access to all 3 types of chakra, internal (normal), natural (nature), and tailed beast chakra. Sasuke is less then Naruto but more then Sakura, For him, I would say he can create powerful abilites but sustain them for incredibly long periods of time, Uchiha have more power then normal people but not as much stamina as an uzumaki. Now what about Sakura? Well considering the stored chakra, I would say the Yin seal works like this, also helping for the strength of 100, like tsunade, in order to compensate to gain a lot of power, Sakura set aside a set amount of her own chakra 3 years ago during the timeskip to create the seal. The seal would naturally grow during her own training so its not fully passive either, she has had to concentrate at different times to boost this power and let the chakra accumulate on its own.

 

One thing that made Sakura a perfect counter balance to Naruto was where Naruto has a crap ton of energy but is lousy with controlling it, Sakura is the opposite, she has limited energy but uses it perfectly none wasted or misused. With Naruto now in super mode, again with Sakura's powerup this builds upon this old balance between them, again the heaven and earth clause. I would say it works like this: The Yin seal was designed to naturally accumulate extra chakra, kinda like a 2X or 4X energy reserve. Similar to how Naruto used to access Kurama's chakra, in a separate portion within himself, we can view the Yin seal Tsunade and now Sakura use it like this. Remember, chakra naturally replenishes itself, so in theroy, when their normal power is not enough Tsunade and now Sakura used this when excess chakra beyond their normal limits was needed. Tsunade's advantage, being at least half senju, she had a small amount of extra stamina by default. Sakura not having this was at a natural disadvantage to her teammates, but her perfect chakra control again helps her. So Sakura's yin seal in effect can be seen as an extra chakra storage kinda like Naruto's old method for using Kurama's chakra was. The small seal can hold more energy then her natural body limit, its like its all suppressed there and released all in an instant but Sakura refined the power due to her own perfect control, it has no effect on reducing her lifespan.

 

Side note: The Yin seal only made tsunade look older cause well, remember she is a 53 year old woman, she is an expert medical ninja, using the transformation jutsu passively to look younger without the need of using any chakra, when she excesses her limits like in the Sannin fight and in pain, she reverts to her true form.

I know this is ridiculous  However, some of them may have some good points. One naruhina fan say to me that he acknowledge the fact that Sakura is indeed a parallel to Sakura. However , the problem is that it's the same for Naruto. He use this first pannel as a proof

 

So he clealery said to me that Naruto and Sakura can't end up together because they have the same personality, and Naruto should end up with someone like Minato ( Hinata i guess ) to have the same relationship that MinaKushi had. What do you think about that ?
