Out of respect for the Haruno Sakura, I will never allow the last two chapters and some kitten movie( that I hope causes a lot of bad backlash for SP/Kishi) to taint her true character.

Before the manga ended I hoped to see Sakura in combat again, this time without anybody. Especially with that new seal. I wanted to see her battle tactics, her determination to fight like in the battle with Sasori. I wanted to see her focusing on he own strengths for once.

What I got. Naruto, Sasuke and Kakashi having their shining moments in the fight with Kaguya. I waited for Sakura to use her newly obtained skills to do something combat related, but she hardly got any screentime. Kishimoto honestly forgot about her.

Now instead I am forces to witness a side character gain new footing while she ha done nothing to improve herself substantially.

This is the true Sakura before she was ruined forever Sakura will always be our special lady in the Naruto series but I will NEVER FORGIVE how her character developments were butchered and tossed in to the blender just to be Sasuke's  house keeper/BABY MAKER!

Over the course of one month I've had time think to casually think about my decision regarding one of favorite female character, Sakura Haruno. When 699 and 700 came out I was in the same state as you guys, how the hell could she do that after all that she went through with Naruto. I took a few steps back and realized what happened to Sakura in 699/700 was not her fault. I then viewed her as if she was a normal person, and the sakura for 698 chapters is what she'd be. The Sakura that I loved, the Sakura i'm sure everyone enjoyed, she will forever remain with many of us.

 

There is no way I'll ever forget all amazing moments that made Sakura the woman I came to appreciate:

Me: So Sakura how are you?

Sakura: I AM PISSED!!!

Me: I see and why are you pissed?

Sakura: Kisimoto turned me back into my part one self when I was a Sasuke fangirl.

Me: And you hated that part of yourself?

Sakura: Yes I fell in love with Naruto.

Me: Really?

Sakura: Yes.

Me: And why do you love him.

Sakura: Because he supported me. He always been there for me and he loves me for who I am.

Me: And what about Hinata? How do you feel about her? In the movie you are friends.

Sakura: What? I never talked to Hinata. She's a nice girl and all but we're not buddies. And that's not me, that's Suckura. I quit.

Me: I heard rumors that Naruto asked you to marry him.

Sakura: Not yet he hasn't. He did ask me out.

Me: One more question. I heard you and Naruto have decided to rewrite the ending, is that true?

Sakura: Yes. We're making the ending right now. Only this time I am head medic and mother. Naruto is Hokage and the best father ever.

Kishi never handled her as well as she could/should have been handled, but I became a fan. *shrug* She became as strong as she is in part two without having power-ups handed to her, and I like that.

You have a character come all that way.. and then have her ask the bad-guy-turned-good if she'd like to travel the world with him despite all the suffering and pain he caused to everyone around her. Never mind that said character tried to injure her multiple times even when not in his 'I-must-kill-Konoha' state. Forget that he has influenced some of her more negative traits. Ignore that all their interactions are demeaning to her character and are hardly ever positive. Sideline the idea that she should ever get the slightest bit of respect from him.

You're joking right? The only thing Hinata beats Sakura in is in having a "nicer" "sweeter" personality. Sure Hinata's a great character but people overrate her and to say that she is better than Sakura a main character is insulting to Sakura fans.
Sakura may have been ruined at the end but she is still a better character than Hinata. She's smarter more courageous and has a stronger will. She also has a personality and I actually prefer her hot-tempered comical complexity to Hinata's one-dimensional blushing shy girl act. No offense Hinata fans but Sakura has always been a better more well-rounded character.

Hmm this one is the only pairing one and has an Awesome resolution to Sasusaku. Just read the first chapter and you'll see. Inthe end Sasuke and Sakura just end up as friends.

Sakura pretends she doesn't notice Naruto and Kakashi going off behindher back, stamping things with "need to know" and decidingshe doesn't. She scares the kitten out of them with the stunt she pulls with the sleeping gas; the memoryof it still wrenches an upwards twist of a smile fromher thin, unhappy lips. Sakura sometimes almost wishes something had happened before her eternal protectors could track her down. It would serve them right for treating her the way they do.

She is just so kittening sick of being the sunshine. Brightening the lives of her boys and letting them, the clouds roll in to protect her. Blot her out. Because goddamnit she is powerful too. If they would just stop covering her, they'd notice. Kakashi and Naruto lookat her and still see a twelve year old crying fromthe pain of her bruised little heart.

The teammom, a bit of comic relief, the weakness to protect she hates these roles that somehow always get forced onto her. On the bench, the sidelines. Barely any lines in the script of their lives. Lady in waiting. Not even a real main kittening character.
