If he's revived, I think those things on his body will pop out from his body on their own. I can't imagine anything else other than that, unless someone took them out which I don't see why would someone think so if he's dead on the battle field while there's a battle.

Though, I don't think he's going to be revived cause Kishi has done a lot of reviving for characters in the past. Gaara alone has become equal to Goku's reviving which is 3 times or something XD

Well he died, so a revival is the only way out. In Bleach, well, you can go through what Tsunade is in now and you're still guaranteed to live.

Is Edo tensei limited to reviving just few persons ? cause I thought all the people that died when Pain attacked Konoha were revived.
But, if a main character died, he/she is going to be revived. Only, if it was Sasuke at the end of the manga and died fighting Naruto, though, I don't want him to die.

Well he died, so a revival is the only way out. In Bleach, well, you can go through what Tsunade is in now and you're still guaranteed to live.

Generally, when side characters die, they really die, unless the mangaka wants to surprise us or make us suspense like Kishi did with Gaara.
But, most of the time when main characters die, they're revived, unless it's like Sasuke's situation when battling with the protagonist and how it should go.

Kakashi's death was questionable because we all didn't know if he was really dead. Neji seems like legit. Not as Jiraiya but so far, it's been a good 75% confirm. The reason is because of Obito saying that line, but it's too early to judge. Though as much as I like Neji, it did complete his character. It could be influence to Hyuuga to really become one, especially Hinata becoming a heir, but that's another story. As for Shikamaru and Ino's fathers, unless it's following One Piece, they're dead.

I see what you mean. Good point. Time will tell. But that revival thing can revive everyone right? Or is it really limited to very few as in 5 max? Imagine, put Naruto into a situation where he can only choose Sakura or Neji to be revived. That will be some dark twist, much like in Mass Effect 1 where you choose one to do the sacrifice. Doubt it will happen. You know, I can't help but to think that Kishi will do a redo of Rin's demise. Like panel by panel, it's unlikely but I can't help but to think.

You're forgetting that he can use the juubi's chakra as a boost to this jutsu.
But it will kill him.

Umm, yeah, I think he has those chakra if he was connected to the Juubi, probably. But, I think he'll use them just for fighting.

Maybe the final transformation of the Juubi is his trump card. There's yet this and no one knows how much more powerful can the Juubi become after that.

I really don't want the manga to shift to Sasuke now, but it's very likely given the last panels of 617, and I'm somewhat expecting it in 618 XD

Y'know... for all those saying that NH fans are shallow because of Hinata's reaction to Neji's sacrifice, I didn't see any of you comment about Neji's death, at all.

Sure, it's possible I skipped it (I usually read the first 3 comments, then skip to the latest page, which was around 33, 34 for this thread at the time), but really, the entire thread is mostly about "Where's Sakura?"

Like I posted pages ago, in an attempt to discuss what actually happened in the chapter, no one talked about how the shape of the charging Shinobi was in the shape of a bird, a homage to Neji's "Bird in the Cage" symbolism.

Or how similarly it is to his father's sacrifice to Hinata's father. That he died of his own volition, to protect his own family. It's a far cry from his "it's fated that.... It's fated this.... You're too weak to fight fate...," attitude.

Yes, I'm being accusatory. Yes, it's ridiculous that I'm getting worked up about the direction this thread keeps moving. But, really, I think you guys are taking the whole, "Sakura's not here?!" thing seriously, even when she's the main heroine.

Like I mentioned before, this series is much like an overworked Spotlighter. Everyone has monologues at a stage that follow one after another, but only one guy manning the spotlight and struggling to move the light from one actor to another.


About Sasuke's reappearance. Yes, I believe the story will shift to him and his group soon. Do I care? Not really. Kishi's setting the stage for his next arc, obviously.

About Kishi and his editors and caving into fan pressure.... What evidence do you guys have? Sure, there's precedence for this kind of thing happening, I personally haven't seen it, but it's certainly possible. But, how do we know that this is simply what Kishi has been planning? That it's just bad writing?

The opposite certainly is possible, that he might be caving into editors, fan pressure, etc, but the members who say he is, seem to be 100% sure he is caving into them.

In the end.... Guys, it's just a fictional story about ninjas fighting a gigantic monster whose old body became the moon led by a teenager with a gigantic fox spirit stuck in his stomach. It's not the end of the world.


AND AGAIN, STOP BASHING NH FANS. Calling them shallow, no matter what their opinion is, IS BASHING NH FANS.

Sasuke will find what he's looking for, but probably, won't interfere in the battle. The scroll that he got now, seems that it will give him great power or maybe there's a specific secret that will give him an opportunity to do something. This scroll is having his attention. We have yet to know what the scroll holds, but maybe Kishi will surprise us that it's not a power up or a dangerous jutsu.

It is really unbelievable that there are people who think that because they prefer a certain fictional union between two fictional characters over some other fictional union of some other two fictional characters, that makes them superior human beings. And yeah, I'm sure that all the commentors who think that Kishi is being forced to make NH canon due Teh Evul Editorzz can easily prove all their claims with some solid evidence.
