Kishimoto was misguided on his statements on popularity in japan since over there people who like Hinata are the few otaku who like Naruto, I think he was watching the western fandom instead

 

Or its the voices in his head the are feeding him the wrong information. Not to mention that he's too much on a traditionalist that doesn't know how to use a computer. The ironic thing about that is why does he ave a keyboard on his desk next to where he illustrates manga?

I wonder how many people have stopped watching manga in general due to the shock from NARUTO.
My ex-best friend told me he doesn't want to have anything to do with Japanese culture after the NARUTO ending. I guess for some people the shock are bigger than others.

It's a pity though because I'd say NARUTO would be ranked very bad in terms of quality of story in comparison to the others.

 

Actually, its the opposite. I was already falling out of the manga industry and NS becoming canon would have been the last draw. But the Naruto ending has forced me to invest reading more manga than ever before lol. I just don't read the ongoing manga because like Chatte, I don't trust the mangakas at all. I just read the ending summary for each completed manga to see if there's anything similar to Naruto. Granted I took a chance with Neon Genesis Evangelion because people say the ending was kitten, but nothing pairing related like Naruto. Although the end sucked, its nowhere near as worse as Naruto's and not a complete waste of my time.

I would like someone to ask him if the resurrection concept was intended in Pain Arc.

Not much change for me. I'll admit I've been looking at less manga lately and more anime.

 

I've always loved Japanese culture, but moreso Japanese History. Oda Nobunaga is one of my favorite people in history and I love the Sengoku Jidai.

I think it would have been a huge wakeup call for sp,editors,nasty fans obsessions towards her character.

Well I'd rather not have Kakashi stay dead. I think it would be strange if he was gone for the rest of the story after he died in the Pain arc. Also, even in the ending he's still a lot more likeable than the rest of the main cast.

Well the anger in me says he should've killed her. But the writer in me says he should've developed her into an actual character.

I believe she never should have been written in the first place, even if she wasn't a love interest because I believe she serves no purpose to the story. And I would have written Sakura to stand up to Sasuke.

Living in Japan sucks because of the constant advertisement of NARUTO in bookstores. I don't even want to SEE it. Even on the counter they have the products.

 

Is it possible that it's everywhere because it's not selling well and they're trying to get rid of it?  I suppose that would be too much to hope for.....

Kill her off? Eh, that's a bit extreme. Either develop her or Kishi should have never written her. Or at the very least not have given her a crush on Naruto.

Hinata's lack of development isn't just exclusive to her. A lot of Naruto's classmates suffered the same thing(except for Shikamaru)

Because he wrote it for 15 years...not because its amazing..still doesn't deserve it...DiCaprio couldn't get an Oscar when he deserves it but Kishi can get an award for messing up his story and characters?! I will forever be mad about DiCaprio not getting an oscar lol

Oh yeah, I really hope so ! At least, I'm pretty sure I won't be disappointed if I watch that anime. (Plus, it's really gonna help me forget Naruto )

Trust me you wont everything follows up nicely in the manga when things go serious Sorachi for one knows how to build and patch things up XD (Hey it helps me I forget about everything from laughing to hard      )
