To hell with Kishi if this is true. How does souping up the Hyuga girl with newfangled powers that we have never seen before this movie benefit the romantic subject matter? Creating a power couple just so you can boast that the relationship transcends normal human conception isn't necessary. It cheapens the worth of your so called "romance" because the girl is incapable of earning and living with the attractions of their significant other based on their own simple, but honest merit alone. Not only that, you're betraying the original dynamics of the three-man protagonist trio by sacrificing two-thirds of them just for the sake of an undeserved girl whose relevancy was nonexistent until now.
What's most damning is the fact that Kishi is effectively spitting on Sakura's own characterisation and dreams of becoming an equal with her teammates by handing it off to someone else. Does this man have any self-respect or dignity? Is he purposefully trying to destroy everything that his original manga was about? This all sounds incredibly asinine.
