I really don't see that this rumor is true !

1- It's illogical for the plot, as none of the characters will gain anything good but just misery.

2- If Kishi killed Sakura, the story will progress in such a dark atmosphere. After all, Naruto is shounen, and not soap opera with dramatic events all the way

3- Sakura dying means that either Naruto and Sasuke will die, or Naruto will still alive. Plus, if Naruto staying alive means that he won't be with anyone. If Sakura was dead back then, then NH is dead too cause the protagonist won't shift his love after the girl, especially the main female character, died.

4- Every character in the manga see Sakura as a strong girl, with amazing strength and has a great personality. Not to mention, said from her sensei Kakashi, that she will surpass Tsunade. How's that ? by going to let herself kill by Sasuke 0_o. Plus, she just said that she wants to protect Naruto and not make him suffer anymore, so she let Sasuke kill her ?!!!!!

And I want to explain something. If Kishi really did consider her to be killed back then, and then he brush it off, and taking the decision not to kill her anymore, then he won't kill her at all. Means, he won't do it at the end. He didn't make her dead back then when he was considering to take it as a plan, so he won't make her dead in the future.
Sakura dying in Naruto vs Sasuke battle right at the end, then Sasuke will not be redeemed in any way, not to mention that he'll die after it. Plus, what Naruto will do ? right at the end when is all supposed to work out after the battle between him and Sasuke. So, there's no reason to just put Sakura at a dead state.

From how the events is going right now, Kishi is clearly taking the good route and the safe one for him and the main characters.

If the rumor about Sakura's death is true, Kishi might just have changed time and place. If he's already willing to be on the edge of killing her, she could very well die in the war.

That being said, it's not what I want. I don't even believe in the rumor, I was thinking of it as a "What if"-situation. I want her close to death, mortally injured..anything. But I don't want her to die and be revived. I don't like Rinne Tensei, I was OK with it once, I won't be twice. It will only cheapen her life. I am just saying that if Kishi has thought of this before, chances are that he didn't throw the idea completely out of the window.

Have you guys checked the facebook account, there's 99% of chance that the account it's fake unless someome shows a proof, people should stop jumping to conclusions before checking the source.
THe picture that was posted was posted on the facebook on day 15 with "chie" claiming that it was her first day of work when on her amebo, the same picture was posted on day 05 of january with the same "first day of work".
20 seconds wasted on this search would have been better than discussing something that is likely to be false.

So can you guys please drop the subject until it's proven if it's true, it's pointless discussing gossip.

As for a current position of the rumor being fake/not fake. I'm not gonna look into so much. It's Kishi's manga and even if we're not happy with the over all outcome, we're just gonna have to accept it.

Ugh, I just realized Chie really is preggy.

In today's SD episode, it's not her. It's better than that time One Piece replaced Chopper's VA when she was pregnant , but still. On the other hand, I am glad Chie became pregnant now because we won't see Sakura much in the anime for a while.

She was alright. I think I'll get used to it. It didn't ruin her character, but it didn't have that nice touch Chie has.

Come to think of it, now I heard it again. It's pretty similar, but in the beginning of the episode, it's different. Maybe it is Chie, I am not sure. XD

LOL! I didn't know that about OP. That's funny. Hopefully I don't have that reaction to Sakura's temporary VA. It sounds like she did a decent job though. I'm looking forward to hearing it!

She probably will! Even if the account is an impostor, like so many people here have decided, the account updates pictures of Chie frequently. All of which are absolutely adorable. I'll let you know if I see anything.

I don't even think she said "Shannaro" in this episode. That's a good solution. ^^I am not finished watching it yet though. I don't even know if it's Chie, because sometimes it's similar and sometimes it sounds like a different person.

Now I have to wonder if her minimal screentime in the manga was done out of Kishi's consideration for Nakamura, but still, that doesn't excuse 615-617. Judging by the anime pacing, we'll probably have Obito by October, that's when Nakamura would very well have finished her break. If this actually the reason for 615, I'll be royally pissed. Sure, I can understand the consideration, but really?? I dunno, doesn't that sound...... lame??

I just watched the SD episode. You're right sushi, her voice does sound different, but only in the first segment.
