And I just realized, the wielder of those lion gauntlets may have been Heracles himself! It'd make sense...though if he does appear in GOWIII, he better be called Heracles and not Hercules....

I doubt he'll appear but it would be cool though. The developers more or less bent the Greek mythology a little replacing Heracles/Hercules with Kratos if you haven't noticed.

The verdict is still out there, but it wouldn't be a complete Greek mythology GOW experience without Olympus's Mighty Hero Heracles vs. Kratos, the Spartan God-Killer showdown!

Except that ad looks to be from Taiwan or Hong Kong, its using Traditional Chinese.

Hell, if Heracles appears, Kratos would kick his ass too. He already tore off Helios's head, and that guy was full-god.

I'd rather have the game delayed again and be perfect than have it shoved out the door because the fans want it; we get enough of that in video gaming as it is.

Looks like Apollo is at least in God of War III and the armor will be unlockable for Kratos as well, I'm interested in see the Daimonus armor I've been hearing about.

Do you guys think Hades or Poseidon will be the second hardest God (obviously Helios seems to be the weaker than Ares)? I figured Hades since he's Zeus Brother and Army of Hades is urber badass.

Mistwalker boss Hironobu Sakaguchi, creator of the Final Fantasy series, told us last year that his company was working on two projects: an iPhone game and a proper game. Could that second title be a Wii game?

Sure is. Nintendo sent out a press release overnight advertising the launch of a website for "The Last Story", a game we'd previously only heard about in trademark applications and financial results reporting.

There's precious little on the website except for a looping song and a log. Oh, and at the bottom, a bit that says "Nintendo/Mistwalker". Turns out this is indeed the game Sakaguchi had been hyping up last year, so...time to get excited? Maybe not excited, not after the company's solid-if-unspectacular Xbox 360 output (the not-good Blue Dragon and the quite-good Lost Odyssey), but...intrigued, definitely.

However it all pans out, you have to love the name. "Last Story" is about as close as you can get to "Final Fantasy" without getting emails from lawyers.

A Final Fantasy-like game from the creator of the Final Fantasy series? That's definitely made me sit up. I'm currently enjoying Lost Odyssey (nearly at the end of the game, just doing side-quests), so I look forward to seeing what Mistwalker can do on the Wii.

Well, nothing is exclusive, that goes for the 360 too. Most third party games and content are multiplatform. I'm glad Rockstar finally got around to it, I've never been a fan of exclusive content. It looks like It'll come in march, but that's FFXIII and God Of War III Month so it will have to wait for me.

A Final Fantasy-like game from the creator of the Final Fantasy series? That's definitely made me sit up. I'm currently enjoying Lost Odyssey (nearly at the end of the game, just doing side-quests), so I look forward to seeing what Mistwalker can do on the Wii. smile.gif

So has anyone pre-ordered Bioshock 2 yet?

Amazon is offering a Big Daddy outfit pre-order promo code for Playstation Home Network


Xbox Live is only offering helmets but not the armor due to their stupid avatar policy of the avatars have to maintain a human look/features shown which makes the Gears of War 2 Locust armor look messed up.

So I may wind up getting it for Playstation 3 this time around instead of the 360.

What do you guys think?

Haven't played the first one really, but might get Bioshock 2.... Anyone got Darksiders? I wanna know if it's worth a buy or not.... Really, the only thing remaining on my "definite buy" list is God of War 3, but I have enough money to buy 1 or 2 more games other than that....

Can I suggest a poll idea? How about a who's your favorite character in a certain game thing? I propose Dragon Age.... and recommend Bann Teagan be one of the choices XD

I don't know man, you have to rent it first before buying some call it the better version of zelda or what Zelda should be like.

Meh, Home outfits are so-so. The idea of home is fun, but the bugs and glitches while trying to log in kill it. Plus the always full bowling alley lanes in it are annoying.
