Not much happened, but it was still kinda cool. All the captains giving Ichigo advice and Ichigo decides he should trust in them. That's a pretty big step for Ichigo because he always wants to protect everyone. At least we know Hitsu will be fine because he has the power of his fans protecting him at all times. I could see Shunsui taking a hit for him tho ;_;

But where the heck did Gin go? I have a bad feeling about whatever he's planning. Plus, we have yet to see his Bankai. That could be a serious problem.
Can't help but wonder how Unohana is going to heal Hiyori. Maybe her zanpakutou can do something.

Aizen is still a twice baked asshat, though. Somebody needs to jam a sock in his mouth. Shut up, already!

Yeah, I didn't expect it (though knowing Aizen, it's probably just an illusion; darn absolute hypnosis ability). I'm interested in seeing where this goes from here. In all honesty though, I'm hoping that Aizen comes out unscathed. That will make him all the more intimidating when he simply brushes the MULTIPLE attacks off.
On a sidenote...I sure hope Ichigo's keeping that 'opening to attack' in mind. I mean, he's just...watching, right now, which I guess is understandable, since I don't think he's seen a battle of this scale. I mean, he's fought Grimmjow, Byakuya, Kenpachi, Nnoitra, Ulquiorra, and many others. Hell, he almost got killed by Ulquiorra.
All in all, Kubo's really got a good battle in the works here. I'm hoping to see some bankai-action soon though. It's hard to watch this while knowing they have even more power at their disposal.

ULQUIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII<4 So awesome that Ichi vs Ulqui came in second >3< All of the boys looked really good in the spread.
This chapter was amazing. Really, Aizen is so diabolical. I never would have guessed he switched with Hinamori. Pure evil. The looks on their faces was just, epic...how the heck does Ichigo stand a chance?
;_; no chapter next week.

I didn't notice this before (my friend pointed it out actually) but Aizen had the Hinamori switch planned such a long time ago. Kubo does a good job of showing subtle hints of Aizen being a very masterful tactician. I really like the chapter with Aizen's power coming to realization. Makes you think about the whole concept of reality. But he is becoming VERY broken at this point...approaching maybe an eighth of Alucard's level. Ichigo will have to beat him with one sense Aizen can't control, instinct!
And wow all top four fights involved Ichigo huh? Though I guess I shouldn't be surprised since he is the main character afterall...

Ohh interesting XD and I thought Kubo didn't plan a lot

But I really liked this chapter because we can clearly see what Aizen's style is, and to me, it sort of highlights his weakness. While we have had all these chapters with Gin and Aizen bragging about how strong he is without his sword, in truth he has been using it all along. Even with everyone determined not to be caught in an illusion, they right away fall victim to his false boasting and let their guard down because of it. His greatest strength is his ability to manipulate, and he preys upon their fear of his sword. It's really smart of him, but it also shows a dependence upon his sword. You pretty much need to shut your eyes and plug your ears to fight him. So I do agree that his greatest weakness would be instinct. Ichigo has it, in the form of his hollow, but he isn't ready to use that ability to its full potential yet, I don't think.

I don't see Ichigo strong enough yet to defeat Aizen, even in his full hollowfied form, however we still have Isshin, Yoriochi and Kisuke who have not turned up to the party yet, and that does stirke me as odd.
Though I have a feeling he's one of them that's so used to winning that if Ichigo gets one hit in, he'll lose his cool and start panicking and make mistakes.

I'm more impressed by the turnaround with Hinamori. People hated her for the longest time, but now that she's back and getting stabbed and crushed, people are loving her. I don't understand the world. >_<
