Since we're on the subject of SAO. The first half of season 1 was great then it got kind of boring. The same thing happened with season 2.

I know. I just never felt the need to put priority on it. How do I say this... I couldn't really like any of the cast. And seeing how Kirito and Asuna got together was... stupid.

No idea. I remember though how I found out about it: I was complaining about how long it takes for two people to get together in a manga or anime- you know, usually, it doesn't happen until the very end, no matter how obvious the pairing is. My brother told me that SAO is "unique" in that regard and that the main male MC and main female MC got together early on from the start. Got curious, watched stuff here and there, saw how they got together (s.t.u.p.i.d.) and the last few episodes were just... baaaad.

Can you explain why you think its stupid?

First of all, I don't like Kirito. He has this "mysterious badass" aura around him when in reality he's a loner who distances himself from the reality. There's nothing inspiring around him. Asuna- is also badass and all this stuff, but turns out to be a Tsundere- and I'm iffy with tsunderes. He suddenly kisses her, she mistakenly thinks he wants to have sex with her right away after they got together, strips in front of him, only to punch him right afterwards. They "marry" after being together for only a short amount of time, and adopt this holographic fairy and view her as their "child". All of this is personally to me too superficial. I know the animation and fights are good, but when the overal story lacks and the characters are underdeveloped, I have a hard time getting trough this show. I will eventually finish it just to say that I've watched it. But I've seen enough reviews from people, including those I deem very high (Gigguk, GlasReflection) to have an idea what is awaiting me. I know this show isn't bad, but it definitely isn't great.

Levi isn't that great of a character if you ask me. He's more so famous only b/c of how badass he is. Anyways, he should be going up soon with season 2.

SAO was a bad adaptation, the light novel is waaaaay better
