You said that they only thing that he had going for him was his wits, then you turned right around and said that he needed logic, among other things that Shouto had, thus implying they were separate. Also, he has had an adequate amount of time, there was a large timeskip after the villains attacked, he knows how to use his quirk just fine, we just haven't seen him in combat with it. He specifically said that he was saving it and has gone out of his way to avoid using it, the exception being in the first round of the tournament.Lol I never said they weren't. They are one and the same. And Deku has that. But what he doesn't have is a grasp of his quirk. And considering that he hasn't had much time to learn how to use it unlike Shouto or Bakugou, it's kind of unfair, and quite early, for him to win victories against the likes of them. He may have worked his ass off, but it still isn't enough. Also considering that Todoroki is probably just as smart as Deku, he's going to need more than just his logic to win against him.
