I'm think i'm in denial! arg.gif It's really hard to believe in what Nakamura said!

-> If it was revealed on japaneses animes sites... why anyone comented about this?!such a thing wouldn't slip through by the fandom.
-> what about "I want to give hope to the people" that Kishi said that Naruto is about
-> what about "the new generation surpass the other" that is one of the themes of Naruto
-> what about the obvious Minakushi parallel that came after summit arc?!
-> I really couldn't think of a scenario in which her death would add something significant to the story.
-> sad sad sad /kidding

1) It may not have been a mainstream site. Perhaps not many fans outside of the country know of it.
2) This.
3) This.
4) Maybe creating Minato and Kushina that way had to do with his decision to keep Sakura..? headscratch.gif
5) This.
6) This! shamefulcry0js.gif

Question about that, why are you fond of Sakura but then suddenly want to kill her off? (This is directly at Kishimoto).

I'm not even sure if this would've make her confession more truer or honest than this. And giving the series a very tragic ending? Not even sure if he want ALL Team 7 members to die, but this would've make Naruto, one hell of a berserk-type (I think he will pass near Gutz/Gatz's rage from Berserk) and that would definitely make him want to kill-off Sasuke for killing Sakura . But I know one thing, that would've made "Naru"Hina 75% more chances than ever of happening (or an open ending if Naruto survived the battle).

And would completely reinforce Obito's goals if Naruto snaps out of his berserker rampage and meets with him. That's not a good moral, isn't it??

That said, Slex, how are you so sure this is really Nakamura's facebook?? do you have evidence?? as far as I know, most Japanese don't speak English that well. If the Japanese was more broken, I'd have believed it. But this "Nakamura" speaks in almost perfect English.

Okay, thank you for the information. Admittedly I am still very skeptical about this since it is coming from what could be considered a third level source (Kishi being one and his editors being two). That does bring up the question of what Kishi intended if such an event occurred. Would it have been a tragic ending for all of his characters or would it simply be Sakura who perishes? Well regardless the jubilation from the resentful members of other forums would echo across into this forum and it would be like the screeching of crows infesting my mind personally (no offense, it is merely a hypothetical reaction to an event that would probably hurt all of us on some level). Most of them never enjoyed her character and they would perceive it as the largest obstacle as being surmounted in their dreams of seeing Hinata become involved with Naruto.

If this is true then I suppose it could help in explaining why Sakura "slipped his mind" during the current arc even though she is supposed to be the heroine. This process of bastardization just gets more and more disgusting with these new developments and it doesn't help Kishi that he would do this. No, it likely would damage the perspective of others about not just his writing but his own personality. I don't want to openly admit that Kishi is incompetent when it comes female characters but he damn well doesn't do them the same justice as he does for male characters.

What could this possibly entail for the future of the manga if originally Sakura was supposed to die? Oh well, regardless I remain skeptical about that information. Perhaps it's just a biased perspective but unless it's from Kishi himself I'm not going consider it as completely factual. You guys can think whatever you want about it.

No, she doesn't. Her English is very broken. She makes quite a few grammatical errors, spelling mistakes, and she forgets words like "and" or "to".
Examples:
"Mr. Kishimoto has adapted the scenario story..." --- Would you normally say "scenario story"?
"porducers crew" --- Could be a typo, but still a mistake.
"revealed on anime japanese sites" --- I believe someone fluent in English would say, "It was revealed on a Japanese anime site", not "anime Japanese sites".
"accidentally as it said" --- "It was said by accident."
"Mr. Kishimoto wanted Sakura not oppose Sasuke desire to kill her" --- "Mr. Kishimoto wanted Sakura to not oppose Sasuke's desire to kill her."
"Naruto universe would not have witchery if on of principal characters is gone" --- She uses an awkward word, "witchery", in her description.

I do know that this is a legit facebook account because of the things that she posts. She's always uploading new photos, for one. The photos are either of her with other voice actors/actresses, or of her in a casual setting with friends, or of her with her children. They look like they're taken from a personal camera. A fan wouldn't have access to such photos - if they did, they would be very limited. Yet she updates these regularly. huh.gif

She also makes quite a few of her posts in Japanese, which I expect from a Japanese VA. Her English posts don't always make sense, but she does have a decent understanding of the language. Since she's been in the United States before, that's not surprising. She has a sister in LA as well, so communicating with her would improve her English.

Try adding her on facebook and see for yourself. happy.gif

EDIT: Here's an example of the kind of stuff she uploads. This is from her first day back at work after the winter break.

She uploads things like this regularly. A fan running a fake account would run out of available pictures after a while, I would think. Yet pictures like this one are continuously being posted on this account. That's why I believe it is the real thing.

1) but if someone saw this news, he would comment with another person and that person with another person and so on ... once the news is on the Internet, you no longer have control over it and we're talking about the death of one of the main characters of one of the world's most famous manga, it would eventually definitely be discussing in forums like 4chan or TietaBaidu and in the moment that the news reaches these sites, you can say that the western fandom will end up knowing this news too because there is always someone in the fandom who speaks Japanese and / or chinese to translate these news to the rest of the fandom.

4) yeah! maybe he decided to tell the story of Minato and Kushina after he decided to keep the Sakura in the manga

6) a_comfort.gif at least we can be happy that he gave up of that idea

Point taken. At first I thought that she does speak English fluently, albeit with typos when posting stuff like a lot of us do, but now that I take another look at it, it does seem legit.

you're right! worrying about this will not change anything. Kishi said he already has planned the end of the manga so the only thing we can do is wait and see how things will be unfold from now on.

Actually if that true its still not helping to think that everything is ok since kishi didnt do it. In my opinion we have a good chance that kishi kills sakura near the end without her beiing survived if he already wanted to do it. Well if that happens, the story is destroyed but cant change te mind of the author.

True, there is always the possibility of Sakura dieing toward the end and Sasuke dieing as well but after some sort of redemption, thus making SasuSaku happen in the after life and leaving NaruHina to happen in the real world sad.gif

I swear something like that better not happen, I wish I never heard this statement about kishi planning to kill Sakura...

Now then, here's another topic: how would you guys feel if the romance aspect was more like FT?? with FT, Mashima set up several different pairings at once. We hear some of those age old reasoning why Kishi's doing 615-617 is because he's fanservicing parts of the fandom and that he doesn't want to lose readers. Now, what if there was a better way around it?? by setting up several different pairings for the characters, all sides of the fandom wins and we wouldn't be having this acidic shippng war in the first place.

The best timing Kishi could've done was early in Part II. If Kishi had established several different pairings at once, the fandom would be that much more peaceful and the fandom as a whole can focus on the bigger picture.
