I think Sasuke compliment Sakura once during the chunin exam when she was clearly getting cold feet and would probably back out if she didn't get a self esteem boost. The problem is that she was having cold feet because sasuke teared her apart a few days before about how she was weaker than Naruto.

 

Sasuke was always a kitten to Sakura. I find his line "My wife is not weak" so stupid coming from him. isn't he the one who told her that the entire manga? So much BS!

Of course since they think this...mediocre chapter at best is a victory over us. Because their pairing got a moment...if you consider anything that happened in this chapter a moment. Then again it takes me longer to skim through bleach so maybe it did take me a moment to read it.

Isn't it sasuke job to tear Sakura's self esteem apart? When did that change i thought was one of his quality that she liked since him insulting her made up 70% of their interactions.

The extremist SS fans are now going to take that ONE time of Sasuke saying that Sakura isn't weak, and act like Sasuke never said such things before, or that when he did, he "didn't mean it" and crap like that.

It a shame how damn predictable they are they aren't even fun watching since you know what's going to cause a meltdown and what will make them smug kitten. And you can't arguing with them cause it goes in one ear and out the other and they just keep repeating the same line.

The only weird thing in this chapter is hinata is not in naruto flashback, it was iruka first who was there for him, isn't in the last movie it suppose to be hinata then iruka?

Well, they already tried to justify all those times Sasuke called her weak, into moments where he was "worried about her", so this is not the lowest they've sunk.

Yeah, he insulted her when Sakura wanted to try to use the guise of training to ask Sasuke on a date, and just before the Exams, he complimented her Genjutsu skills when Kotetsu and Izumo were testing the Genin. X-P But he only did it just to get what he wanted, given he didn't care about her feelings when he hurt them, and even later on when he just KEEPS hurting them!

Sakura looks kinda weird in the last page. A bit manly. Also, Shin wants to know about Sasuke? What does he want know...

Oh and the repeatedly referring to each other as husband and wife is unnecessary. We get it, they're married. They do have actual names, geez.

Exactly when did Kishi completely lose the ability to draw Sakura? She looks horrible in Gaiden. Why Kishi, why??

 

As for the excessive references to husband and wife; it's because Kishi has to have the characters tell us constantly what their relationships are in order to reinforce a concept that he's been utterly incapable of illustrating. The characters have shown us nothing in terms of endearment for one another, thus they have to tell us over and over and over. "Husband", "wife", "dear friend". It's just a clumsy and desperate attempt to establish bonds between characters who obviously have none.

 

Yes, the amount of occ and retcon is just too much that it really sad and heartbreaking.

If you think it's bad now, wait until Sakura and Sasuke reunite or Sakura shares her "happy memory". It'll be something like this:

 

SASUKE: I wubs u Sakwa.

 

SAKURA: I wubs u too, Sawskay-Koon.

 

forehead-poke hug-hug kissy-kissy.

 

And I'm still betting that Sakura is the birth mother of Sarada. Kishi will asspull a reason why the DNA test was wrong, and that the birth records were hidden in order to protect Sarada from kidnappers because as the daughter of Lord Sasuke, she's destined to be more powerful than even he is, or something equally ridiculous. Asspulls and retcons are flowing freely now. SS will be painted in a good light not because Kishi cares at all about Sakura, but because he'll never allow Sasuke to look bad.

Wait a minute you guys all think that that scene with Sucksuke and Suckura holding Tomato Salad hands helping her walk  was legit flashback memory !?  . I thought it was another imaginary wishful thinking of Tomato Salad like that hug scene she had isn't it drawn in the same style !? . Besides how the hell would she remember that isn't she's to young there !? heck even I don't remember the moment when I first walked  .

All I could see is that Sakura used to look a loooooot loooooot like Kushina, that what I predicted was true (y'know about the 'even though she's not you're mothaaa, she's just like one' thing) aaaand of course, hahahah the flashback....seriously, is the best "memory" Sakura has from Sasuke is when he tapped her forehead ??
