Not necessarily. I think he was originally going to have all three members of Team Seven killed, starting with Sakura apparently. He foreshadows the idea when Naruto tells Sasuke that they'll die if they face one another, but it will lead to Team Seven being able to laugh together again.
He's changed his mind about it, so don't fret.

So he was planning a tragic ending, weather they are together in the afterlife or not its still tragic to have all of them die. Im glad he didn't go with that route

ALOT of things would have changed if this happened!!! XD not just narusaku!
I'm glad he didn't go through with it, (IF IT'S TRUE) cause naruto's character would have been messed up.
and the story would be too depressing
and forget about bringing back sasuke!! cause that would not be an option if he killed sakura.
YA GLAD HE DIDN'T DO IT!!
GUYS GUYS WAIT A MINUTE!!.....if thats true...does that make sakura's confession....true? i mean if he was going to kill her off and all

That would have been a really depressing ending anyway...with an unclear message.

It could mean that she confessed to Naruto because it was the last time that she would see him again. Perhaps that really does make her confession honest.
It would also mean that, if she was supposed to be killed, her last moment with Naruto was their fight. Naruto would be full of regrets. I don't even want to think about how he would have reacted if she had died then.

Does the anime team even have knowledge on the future, I was under the impression they don't specifically to stop things like this (Kishi's plans being leaked) or when they say producers do they mean Kishi's editors because that would seem a little more likely.

Question about that, why are you fond of Sakura but then suddenly want to kill her off? (This is directly at Kishimoto).
I'm not even sure if this would've make her confession more truer or honest than this. And giving the series a very tragic ending? Not even sure if he want ALL Team 7 members to die, but this would've make Naruto, one hell of a berserk-type (I think he will pass near Gutz/Gatz's rage from Berserk) and that would definitely make him want to kill-off Sasuke for killing Sakura . But I know one thing, that would've made "Naru"Hina 75% more chances than ever of happening (or an open ending if Naruto survived the battle).
I don't know, when the series ends, someone should ask him this question during the ending of the series' interview. By then, Kishi's gonna reveal the behind-the-scenes of what was going on during his run.
Also, you may wanna take down the pics soon. I know many of us, don't want this info somewhere in Narutopedia, or any other Naruto sites for gossip or some sort of "true fact".

What's Happening with the Naruto series as of now!

I think it was one of his editors. That explains why Chie knew about it and easily let it slip to another fan. It was already public news in Japan.
Team Seven dying isn't completely tragic. Yes, it's tragic in that they all die, but Naruto would have reached the goal of saving Sasuke and bringing Team Seven together again. It would be similar to the ending we saw for Nagato, Konan, and Yahiko. Yes, they all died, but they were reunited in the afterlife free of the burdens that they had faced while living.
Naruto's already achieved his goal of having the village acknowledge him, which was the reason why he wanted to become the Hokage in the first place. He would be freeing Sasuke of his hatred and reuniting Team Seven. He would also be able to spend an eternity with Sakura. All three goals achieved. Just not how we expected them to be. Meanwhile, the living would think of him as hero. He would go down in history as one of the greatest shinobi that the ninja world had ever seen.
I guess it just depends on how you look at it.

DAA!! thats the easy way out!! >:U
1) how would sasuke join them in the afterlife if he's evil still!!
2) sakura would have no choice BUT to be with naruto...they are both dead!!
thank goodness he didn't go that route! that would end the series much faster also.....and I wanna see alive narusaku babies!
(im just ranting to myself)

-> If it was revealed on japaneses animes sites... why anyone comented about this?!such a thing wouldn't slip through by the fandom.
-> what about "I want to give hope to the people" that Kishi said that Naruto is about
-> what about "the new generation surpass the other" that is one of the themes of Naruto
-> what about the obvious Minakushi parallel that came after summit arc?!
-> I really couldn't think of a scenario in which her death would add something significant to the story.
-> sad sad sad /kidding

Methinks Sakura being killed by Obito then brought back may actually happen ... if that rumor is true.

LOL! Yes, I agree. It would feel like a cop out.
1) Sasuke could "see the light" as he and Naruto are dying together.
2) Yep. It would be more like a Team ending rather than a pairing.
I'm really glad he didn't do this as well. I feel like a lot of fans would have rage-quit the series.
