I cannot believe Naruto would have the audacity to say that to Sakura after he admitted to just using her as a way to one up Sasuke. He really is a scumbag now.

The opposite holds true too, the second she got the kitten, Naruto means nothing to her. Good lord. Wtf kishi XD This is what he allowed his characters to become. He has zero self-respect. I can't imagine any other author allowing this. He's a disgrace.

Wrong he never admitted anything. Sakura was asking him,and since he didn't say anything she just went along. They did that on purpose hoping that the watchers wouldn't catch on. They wanted us to believe it was just a trick by kish so they could rake in more money. Why do you think Sakura's novel comes out on the day Naruto fell in love with her. More bs to make more money.

There's no question about it that he was silently agreeing to what Sakura was saying about his "love" being all about a rivalry with Sasuke. It's unfortunate but we're stuck with this scumbag Naruto now for what's left of this series.

Reminder that all of these things are after 699. Meaning that you should expect BS like this as the norm from now on and try not to get so frustrated about it.

However for the novels in particular, all of these are done by random authors. It's pretty much glorified fanfic that doesnt have to be taken as canon (even if canon is probably not much better.)

There's really no use defending either one, this Naruto is a disgusting, shallow, hypocritical, scumbag and this Sakura is a manipulative, shallow, hypocritical, kitten. There's no defending their actions from 699 on, they both became ridiculously awful people. Hope Orochimaru kills them both, as well as Sasuke and Hinata XD That would make for an almost interesting part three lol

I don't think we're that overwhelmingly frustrated anymore. I just think that people like to see and make fun of how much more ridiculous this series can get. That's how it is for me anyway.

Pretty much, the author himself wasnt that interested in giving some characters closure so he just gave the job to someone, this thing shouldn't be regarded as canon

 

 

And now, I'm really doubting if we should continue to call Kishimoto the author of Naruto, yes he had the original idea about the blond kid, but hell, his whole story and plot came from the editor's mouth...this is stupid

Both are incredibly naive for making the choices they did in regard to partners, but I don't think it means they deserve to not live anymore. That's  just too extreme for me. After all I still like the characters for the potential that they did have-- and believe it or not they havent lost all of their qualities by not choosing one another. You can still take some good out of who they are to continue to like them in fandom.

Personally, I think wishing death on Naruto and Sakura is going too far. Both are incredibly naive for making the choices they did in regard to partners, but I don't think it means they deserve to not live anymore. That's  just too extreme for me. After all I still like the characters for the potential that they did have-- and believe it or not they havent lost all of their qualities by not choosing one another. You can still take some good out of who they are to continue to like them in fandom.

I think its too far too, but...meh...I just can't bring myself to care at all 

 

I will keep liking the Naruto/Sakura from pre-war arc though and how some authors from fanfics portray them

Who forced him? Naruto is not a living entity, he is a drawing, what the creators want, he becames, in this case they wanted someone shallow and stupid enough to make NH possible...and they got it

I wouldn't mind if this Naruto or Sakura ended up snuffing it, they're not the same one's anyway. Besides, that would make part 3 a little interesting. Orochimaru comes along, destroys Konoha, kills the Hokage (he is just a side character anyway, he was never the main) throws the world into turmoil, starts another war etc. More interesting than this crap XD

 

I still like the old naruto and sakura, just not these two assclowns lol
