I really just wonder what Sakura's next event will be if everyone else did that attack to breach Obito's shield down.
Well if anyone has a moment coming up its kakashi, he has been in the kumai dimension since 629. About time he gets back in the action.
Actually I realized something funny. In the pairing debates, both sides are equally guilty of just saying "well the other girl will just be okay off this way or that way."
Well this isn't an argument that can be brushed off, think of it like this. Who has had more time invested in development overall, dynamics with Naruto, and correlation to the story? Yes Sakura.
When people go saying the sidelined argument will happen to a character, they basically say that everything can just go the way it is without any resolution or minimal closure.
So essentially when many argue against NS, they basically just want Sakura's character development to just go off the side. Yet there is plenty wrong with this statement: think about how much kishi invested in Sakura with what he chose to write, in fact a simple notion is just going back to character corrleation, who they interact with a lot.
If we look at Sakura, ignoring Naruto, who else does she associate with highly? Kakashi, Sai, mainly Tsunade, Ino, the rest of the K11, Sakura has reserves for who she can associate with and still have importance. Basically if not team 7, she can associate with Tsunade and still have a niche role to end with or without Naruto. All Sakura's assocations have basically a solid intergeated establishment somewhere in the story, team7, the sannin, team 10, most likely more exist.
Now look at Hinata, who does she associate with aside from Naruto? Kiba, Shino, Kurenai, her clan (including Hinabi and her father) and Neji. Yet a few problems with the first 3, Kiba has had some stuff for never anything overly important with Hinata, just teammate association. Shino is a minor character, not much on his end. Kurenai is even more scarce, her real role is just a mother to her unnamed son. As for her clan well, Hanbi has not even been seen since the chunin exams, her father is just there as her father and her clan as her clan. The majority of this, not really overly crucial to the story and from what we have seen from Hinata, well its still dwarfed immensely by what she has done with Naruto and Neji. Neji was her only other major corrlation but he died. So if Hinata's corrlations are rather, insignificant. They haven't been brought to the forefront of importance. She has team 8, her clan, and well naruto, but not counting Naruto, her clans story has been very limited, not even part of the sage story. Team 8 is just there in a limited sense too. This isn't even taking into account Hinata's limited development.
So if we had to get finish a character's development, who would be easier addressed? Sakura or Hinata? Hinata has Naruto, but Sakura has Naruto and many more. So who can essentially be "wrapped up" easier in their development? Yes its Hinata, basically going back to the whole simple ideal of more screentime = more importance. Hinata has more time than some others like tenten and shino, but the real factor is in the time kishi has put her onscreen, not much was significantly accomplished by her compared to others like Shikamaru or Tsunade who also are outdone by the main characters for obvious reasons, they still make enough associations and rather ties to others on screen in which we can see correlations that are brought to the forefront and flow of the manga as the story moves on.
Thats essentially the horse in the stable, people cannot just say Sakura can be done like this or that, no. I mean even going by the dynamics of who actually changed more regarding Naruto, theres a major difference just in how they both first saw Naruto, Sakura hating and being arrogent at first going to closest friends, concerned, and believing in him rather than Hinata who always loved him but was just shy. See? Yes Hinata always loved him but thats not change, thats been a static condition on her, if it came to Sakura actually loving Naruto in the end, its a much bigger dynamic than Hinata merely just needing to no longer be shy. See the ordeal? Sakura would have gone from hating Naruto and loving Sasuke to in the end loving Naruto after all the issues with team 7 compared to Hinata who all the time just had to overcome her shyness. We even see Sakura have a few moments thinking about Naruto and conflicted over the Sasuke stuff, but what about Hinata? She just loves Naruto and thats been pushed forward a lot, but its not really dynamic, its just something repeated and people wait to see if she overcomes her shyness or not, thats really all we see from her. Reason many of us have faith in NS is because of this dynamic for Naruto and Sakura, that how much Sakura has changed from hating him to being concerned and compassionate about him after learning so much about him over the course of the story. Its a much greater difference of Sakura going from this negative to positive outlook on Naruto compared to Hinata who always had a positive outlook, just with a shyness rock in her way.
Even then, we see on screen Sakura slowly changing her outlook on naruto from hate to friendship, thats fact. HInata in her time remains so static, at this point, would Hinata's focus on Naruto really just be the late version of part 1 sakura's early ideal of sasuke in a nutshell? I mean NH has more content than SS but its still outdone by NS so much, its hard to imagine Sakura just being sidelined as many people keep trying to say she will be. Its not going to be good to just brush her aside, Sakura is very important to the story. Hinata isn't that critical. Its just something many people may not realize but its just that simple, main character means very important, minor character not so much.
