Ah, so that's what Toneri's VA meant by when he dropped the mic, Naruto & Hinata got lovey dovey. Which means, he put her in a genjutsu world where she gets everything she wants. Including Naruto being in love with her instead of Sakura. Hell yes

Got what it means. Mistranslation of Wednesday, I think because they tried to shorten it like they did with Saturday --> Sat

 

Wednesday is 水曜日 in Japanese, so it's the first character they shortened it too.

EDIT: Btw, you did hear how one of our sources was told that we should pay attention to Naruto and Hinata standing on a tree branch in the Last and connect it with the Kaguya fight o.o?

I was trying to respond to the info with some thoughts I had myself over this... Man idk, I have millions of possible ideas how this could've went because of the whole genjutsu thing but idk what to say anymore than just wait for the damn movie, lol!

 

 

Gah Kaguya... not this kitten again. If that thing about Naruto and Hinata in a dark room is true, then it's possible we'll get more backstory on Kaguya's clan, Hamura, and her abilities. That arc in the manga was really rushed, so maybe it'll continue on through Toneri in this movie and explore Kaguya's "dimension" power. That had to do with genjutsu, right? 

It's actually the very secret of Kaguya's that Kishi didn't explain in the manga - how is that she switches the worlds, where are those worlds placed and all that... Idk, did the databook talked about it? Do we have some info there? Do you guys know?

It could provide us with lots of helpful info.

 

All I know is that Toneri is descendant of Hamura most surely because they were the ones put to guard the body of the juubi... And here's the tricky part.. Hamura is a descendant of the Byakugan and thus ergo Hinata but there's also something Sakura related via her clan sign and as part of Juubi trinity (rocci knows what I'm talking about)... Only that there's a mix somewhere and pretty tangled and idk I have to think more in order to untangle it and read again the manga or possible DB info that might help.

Yeah see, I thought one of the interesting points of the film would be the backstory of how the Otsutsuki and Hyuuga clans were connected. At least I think it was teased that way or something. I hope we see all this explored more in the film.

I don't know if it's Genjutsu exactly, but I see Toneri being able to take people to a world of their desires. That might also be why Hinata and Toneri are wearing the wedding outfits. Also explains why she has her eyes closed during it

Did you read the edited part? You've probably heard of that already...

 

Anways, I do feel like Kaguya will play an important role in this movie. We know barely NOTHING about that creepy woman. Maybe Kishi did this on purpose to have some "cannon" material for the movie? I don't know...

As for the genjutsu... That NaruHina kiss was confirmed to be real and very passionate, too I really hope that that was a genjutsu only- it's freaking dumb to spoiler something this non-Shounen if it is the hightlight of the movie.
